Bruce Lancaster is the vice president and general manager of Harmony and New Ventures at Logitech. Bruce heads Logitech’s Harmony and Digital Home business, which includes the expansion into home automation. He is also responsible for driving new product ventures for Logitech, including Smartphone accessories.

Bruce recently returned to Logitech after his role as vice president and general manager of mobility at Flextronics, where he drove business growth of mobility products including phones, wearables, connected home and other wireless connected devices. Prior to Flextronics, he served as vice president and general manager at Avnera, a fabless semiconductor company, creating award-winning consumer audio products.

Michael Cavaretta is a Data Scientist at Ford, using Big Data, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence to help the enterprise make better decisions and improve the bottom line.

He is responsible for setting connectivity analytics strategy and managing a team of Data Scientists tasked with delivering insights across the entire portfolio of Ford's vehicle connectivity platforms.

Sridhar Iyengar is a founder and director of Misfit Wearables, makers of wearable computing products, including the award-winning Shine.

Sridhar also founded and served as CTO of AgaMatrix, a blood glucose monitoring company that made the world’s first hardware medical device to connect directly to the iPhone.

He built AgaMatrix from a two-person start-up to shipping 15+ FDA-cleared medical device products, 3B+ biosensors, 3M+ glucose meters for diabetics, with partnerships with Apple, Sanofi, and Walgreens. Sridhar holds over 20 US and international patents and received his Ph.D. from Cambridge University.

Speakers Include

Brett Worthington is the Vice President and General Manager of Wink, which was built to make connected devices accessible. In this role, he oversees the development of the company and its partnerships.

Prior to Wink, Brett worked in several leadership positions across various business units at Ingersoll Rand during his 14-years. Brett joined IR in 2001 and in his final role he was Director of Business Development of the connected home business, Nexia Home Intelligence. Brett holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah.

Christopher Dow runs the software organization for August, where he is responsible for front-end, back-end, mobile, and firmware development.

Prior to this, Christopher was SVP, Architecture at Rovi where he directed the architecture of Rovi digital entertainment products and product ecosystem, including the Rovi guide, metadata, search and recommendations solutions. Chris has directed the architecture for consumer electronics (CE) devices such as digital video recorders, web pads and hand-held gaming devices.

David E. Albert is a physician, inventor and serial entrepreneur who has developed life-saving products over the last 30 years and turned a number of those innovations into startups. Today, he is a founder of AliveCor.

His previous startups include Data Critical (sold to GE). Dr. Albert left GE in 2004 as Chief Scientist of GE Cardiology. His latest invention, the iPhone ECG, became a global sensation via a 4-minute YouTube Video in January, 2011 and was featured on ABC, CBS, CNN and Fox News. Dr Albert has 40 issued US patents and he has authored or co-authored over 60 scientific abstracts and publications in the Cardiology literature.

Nigel Jacob is the co-founder at the Office of New Urban Mechanics, a civic innovation incubator and R&D Lab within Boston’s City Hall. Nigel works to develop new models of innovation for cities in the 21st century.
