The Faculty of Pharmacy, in concordance with the University, has also defined its Internationalization Strategy,in order to stablish an itinerary and specific guidelines about its internalization policy. It is an evidence of the solid commitment that the Dean Team have with these strategy in all the fields in which its members are involved. The concept of Internalization goes beyond the signing of bilateral agreements that allow the mobility of students and staff, and must involve to all the University levels, from the teaching and the research to the transfer, dissemination and visibility of their results. Nevertheless, it is a confirmed and clear fact that the mobility has a strong impact in the personal and academic training of the students, and in the possibilities of labour inclusion. This is the reason why the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Granada has a serious commitment to encourage, facilitate and promote the international mobility of its students by means of different actions of this Internationalization Strategy. ACTION 3: Staff Mobility (“PDI” and “PAS”) Encouragement of the mobility - Motivation and diffusion of the different mobility programs for the University Staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy. - Welcome of staff from other International Universities by means of the International Welcome Centre. Internationalization Actions ACTION 2: Students Mobility 2A) OUT-Mobility: Tutorial Action Plan - To guide new students about internationalization of their curriculum: destinations for international mobility, double degrees, promotion of the learning of languages. - Talks to all the students to inform about the different mobility programs. - Talks given by students who had mobility experiences to show the improvement in their training and curriculum. 2B) OUT-Mobility: Training of “Tutores Docentes” (Departmental Erasmus Coordinators) Training of the Erasmus Coordinators regarding to learning agreements, coordination with Partners, credits recognition and grades conversion. 2C) OUT-Mobility: International Mobility Award To give an award to the student that after mobility proves the highest impact in the academic curriculum. 2D) IN-Mobility - Support the integration of the IN- coming students through the International Welcome Centre. - Reception Day at the Faculty of Pharmacy for IN-coming students. - Updating of the mobility section in the web of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and increasing the English version. 4A) Language Accreditation of the Staff Encouraging of the language training of the Teaching staff to promote the teaching in English. 4B) Teaching in English - To provide all the teaching guides of the courses of the three degrees on the Faculty of Pharmacy in English. - To increase the number of subjects with teaching in English. 4C) Cultural Exchange and Language Practice To provide places at the Faculty of Pharmacy for the interaction between the local and IN-coming students for the cultural exchange and practice of languages. ACTION 4: Internationalization of the teaching at the UGR 5C) Dissemination of the Research carried out at the Faculty of Pharmacy Dissemination through the communication channels of our Faculty (website, informative screens, social networks…) and through “Canal UGR” of all the news related to the research carried out by the research groups of our Faculty of Pharmacy. ACTION 5: Internationalization of the research at the UGR 5A) Participation in International Conferences Presentation of the results obtained in the research groups of the Faculty of Pharmacy in international congresses and conferences of high standing. 5B) Organisation of International Activities - Organisation of seminars directed to students and teaching staff given by prestigious international speakers. - Encouraging of the organization at the Faculty of Pharmacy of international congresses, conferences and workshops about specialized fields. ACTION 1: International Inter-institutional Agreements 1A) Audit of existing bilateral agreements Updating of the information of our Partners, particularly the details related with the language requirements. 1B) Signature of new bilateral agreements Opening of new bilateral agreements for students and staff. We will focus in the signature of agreements with Universities in which the instruction language is English. 1C) International Double Degrees - Consolidation and revision for improvement of the Double Degree in Pharmacy with the University Federico II in Naples. - To set new International Double Degrees in motion. 1D) New International Mobility Activities and Placements - Increasing of the offer of “Estancias Formativas Breves” - Diffusion and promotion of International Placements (Erasmus Placements)

Internationalization strategy of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Granada
