International seminar bujinkan bugei in Prague

DAI-SHIHAN SVENERIC BOGSÄTER

For several years already, November in our dōjō in Prague is traditionally reserved for a seminar with Dai-shihan Sveneric Bogsäter. We are very glad that this year is not going to be an exception.

Sveneric is one of the most experienced none-Japanese students of Hatsumi Sensei. He was one of the four students that were granted a title Shi no Tenno and he helped to spread martial arts of Bujinkan Dōjō 武神館道場 all over the Europe, including the Czech Republic, which he visited for the first time in 1994. In 2014, he received title dai-shihan 大師範 from sōke Masaaki Hatsumi; this title was granted only to most experienced shihans at that time.Since his first visit in 1994, Sveneric had many seminars in Prague. He always tries to share his rich experiences and he gives many valuable advices to students of all levels. His teaching always focuses on precise execution of techniques, emphasizing correct understanding of particular details.Make use of this great opportunity to study under the guidance of such an interesting teacher and do not miss this seminar.

Theme of the seminar:

高木揚心流柔体術

This year the training will be focused on techniques of ryū. We will train the basic principles of taijutsu of this school. Part of the training will be dedicated to techniques of b jutsu from Kukishin ryū. Also, we will train some techniques with kusari fund .

Price:

85 Euro – both days (including training on Friday)60 Euro – one dayWe are aware of the fact that the seminar is more expensive for students from abroad, because of the traveling costs. Therefore, since we like to meet our old and new buyū friends, the price for these students is only 75 EUR.

Take along:

Keiko-gi (clothes for training), bokken, tantō, kusarifundō and bō. In case you do not possess all of these weapons, there are going to be some extra weapons to borrow in the dōjō (especially for students from abroad, it might be difficult to transport long stick, for example).In case you want to sleep in the gym, take a mat and sleeping bag as well.

Night’s lodgings:

It is possible to stay for free in the dōjō. In case you need help finding accommodation in hotels, let us know, we will send you some tips with a nearby hotels and pensions.
