HOW TO REACH THE DŌJŌ:
BY TRAIN:
In front of Torino Porta Nuova Railway Station, please take the bus n.4 (Falchera Cap direction) or
n.11 (De Gasperi Cap direction) and in about 15‐20 minutes you can reach the dōjō.
or
In front of Torino Porta Susa Railway Station, please take the bus n.57 (Mezzaluna Cap direction)
or n.51 (Park Stura Cap direction) and in about 15‐25 minutes you can reach the dōjō.

BY AIRPLANE:
FROM TORINO CASELLE AIRPORT to TORINO CITY
The international airport of Turin Sandro Pertini (or "Turin Caselle") is only 16 km from the centre of the
city of Turin1. From the Turin’s airport you can reach the centre of the city by different ways:
BY BUS‐SHUTTLE
A public bus service operated by SADEM Company is active from 6 am in the morning until midnight and
connects the airport to the city center. The bus leaves the airport each 40 minutes more or less and you can
take one of them at the Arrival level, in front of the exit. The travel takes about 40 minutes and the ticket
costs 6,50 euro one‐way trip. Tickets can be bought at the office at the Arrival Level in the office or by
automatic machine, or directly in the bus if the office is closed (+1 euro if the ticket is purchased on board).
The bus stops at railway Porta Susa Station and Porta Nuova Station.

BY TRAIN
The train station is just 140 metres from the international airport; approx. every 30 minutes train connect
Airport Torino Caselle to Dora GTT Station. The trip time is about 19 minutes and the one way “Trenibus”
ticket costs 3,70euro (take the line SFMA 38 ‐ Torino Dora GTT station). Tickets can be bought at the
office at the Arrival level and it includes a one way trip Torino↔Airport and the use of the public urban
means for 70 minutes (ex: a normal bus). (it is possible also to purchase a one‐day ticket 6,80 euro that
allow you to travel Torino↔Airport and all the day in Turin by the public means).
After you arrived at Dora GTT station, by a normal bus you can reach one of the main railway station: Porta
Susa Station, Porta Nuova Station. You can also walk for about 17 minutes to reach the dōjō or take a
normal bus to reach the dōjō directly (ex: bus n.11 from 3016 Dora GTT Stop to Stati Uniti Cap. direction
and get off at 1216 – EMILIA – Stop ‐ about 12 min trip)

BY TAXI
The taxi rank in the airport is on the Arrivals level in front of the exit flights. The journey to the center takes
around 30 minutes and costs around 34 euro. It is also possible to book a collective bus (minimum 4
people) at the cost of 8euro/each person.

FROM MILANO MALPENSA AIRPORT to TORINO CITY
The international airport of Milan Malpensa is an hub airport situated 140km from Turin. You can reach Turin in around 2 hours more or less and you can choose different ways: BUS/SHUTTLE MILAN AIRPORT‐TURIN: A bus service links the Milano Malpensa Airport (Malpensa Ovest‐Terminal 1 and Malpensa Nord‐Terminal 2) with Turin and viceversa. You can take the bus in front of the Exit n.4 at the Milano Malpensa Airport. There are about 10 daily runs. The trip lasts for about 2 hours. The city bus terminal in Turin is in C.so Vittorio Emanuele 131/H. The bus also stops at the Torino Porta Susa railway station and at Corso G. Cesare/p.le Autostrada. Tickets can be bought at the bus ticket office in the Milan Airport, or in the bars nearest to the bus terminal or directly on the bus, if the office is closed. TRAIN MILAN AIRPORT‐MILAN CENTRALE STATION‐TURIN: From Milano Malpensa Airport to Turin there aren't direct train connections: so you have to call at Milano. You can reach Milano either by:
‐ Milano Malpensa Airport ‐ Milano city center, (Malpensa Express train) that arrives at Milano North railway station. This is not the station from which train to Turin leaves from Milano: you have to move from Milano North railway station to Milano Centrale railway station (by underground or taxi, a 10 minutes trip); ‐ Malpensa Shuttle, bus to Milano Centrale railway station available each 20 minutes for twenty‐four hours a day. MOVING BY PUBLIC MEANS in TURIN
Moving through Turin by buses, trams or metro is easy and economic. The tickets of bus, trams are
available in tobacco stores (ita. TABACCHERIA), some bars or in the GTT Turin's Transports Groups offices.
The metro tickets are available in the metro station. The cost of the urban ticket is 1,50euro/ticket and it is
valid 70minutes.
