Dear Student:

At Molloy we understand that each of us lives within a global community. Events in one country affect other countries, business is conducted internationally, and appreciating the richness of human culture allows each of us to be more empathetic and effective.

At Molloy we offer more international educational opportunities than any other college in Nassau or Suffolk. You can study what you want, where you want, for as long as you want. Our International Education Program:

• Makes studying abroad available to every student. No matter what your major or your grade point average, you may have the opportunity to study overseas – even as a freshman. Nearly one out of ten students participate in our affordable, subsidized programs every year.

• offers convenient, short-term programs from eight days to one month during each semester and summer break so you can discover the world, while you discover yourself.

• Features year-long study abroad options at elite universities in England, Belgium, Spain, Austria, and Italy.

Wherever you choose to go, Molloy is there for you every step of the way. Your advisors will work together to ensure that you’re comfortable with your educational program – and the environment in which you’ll be living – to help you make the most of your international experience.

So if you’re ready to go far, come to Molloy college. to find out how, call the International education office at 516.678.5000, ext. 6672.

Sincerely,

drew Bogner, Ph.d.President

France (honorS)Graduate with cultural distinctionPrograM overvIew:We want our students to set themselves apart from other students that choose Long Island as their home base for their college education. Our education majors can opt to do their student teaching in London, England, at St. Mary’s College, giving them a cultural and experiential advantage over counterparts in their field. Live in the dorms and be a member of the St. Mary’s community both on campus and off as you teach in the English public school system while earning the same credentials you would have received if you stayed at home. It is a winning situation for students that have not had the academic time for a semester abroad because of class and work schedules.

The pinnacle of this excursion is a 5 day stay in Paris – experiencing modern day life in a major European city.
