• Part-time (Leeuwenburg)• two nights a week• students normally > 25 years• students work
• Both programmes start in September and January
Structure of the programme
• Per year• 2 semesters
• Per semester• 6 weeks lessons + 1 week of exams + 6 weeks lessons + 2 weeks of exams + 2
weeks of re-sits
• Per week• 20-22 hours of lessons, projects and sports• 10 hours of homework
You can have a job besides your study, but at
a maximum of 10 hours per week.

Admission RequirementsForeign education
• Abitur, Lycée or another diploma• GCSE’s with 2 or more A-levels • International Baccalaureate
(all certificates will be screened)
English Language test score (for non-native speakers):• IELTS: 6.0 at academic level • TOEFL: 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based and 80 internet-based• The test must have been taken in the last two years
Admission and costs
• Admission• check www.international.hva.nl• You can start in February and September
• Registration• Dutch students: register at Studielink• International students: register at the HvA directly. Once you are admitted to the programme
you also need to register at Studielink.
• Study costs• Tuition fee 2011-2012
• for students who are nationals of an EEA member state or of Swiss or Surinamese nationality: € 1.713,-
• for non-EEA students: € 7.200,-• Costs for books, hand-outs and other school materials: € 700,-• Costs of the exchange
