Introduction• On the next pages I will tell you something about

Thriller and I will give you some statistics. • These statistics are important for me because I

have to produce my own Thriller film and they will help me because with them I know how popular Thriller is and if the audience is interested in Thriller films.

genre were released in the year 2013. It tells that in the year 2013 were 67 Thrillers released and that the producers earns $1,021,223,072 with it. That is a very high number. This is good news because when I am going to make my own production I will know that I might earn a lot of money with it because the audience seems to be interested in the Thriller genre.

why?This films are the Top 10 Thriller of the Year 2012. I think they were so successful because they are made very well and they make the audience interested in them. Maybe they were presented very well and they were market good so the audience noticed them.

What are the characteristics of the

audience for this genre?Age-When I did the research about the age I found out that most of the audience who watch Thriller films are aged between 15 and 24. In the year 2012 the Thriller Taken 54% of the audience were in this age. 47% watched the Hunger Games and 42% watched The Woman In Black.

Gender-My researched showed me that most of the people who watch thriller films are male. For example the statistic shows that the Dark Night Rises was viewed by 66% male, also Skyfall was seen by 55% male people.

Social Class-I found out that the social class who watch Thrillers can be C2. This could be because buying a DVD or going to cinema is luxury and that fits into this class of people.

SummaryBy doing this I have learned to look at statistics more carefully and what I have to not, when I am doing my own Thriller. I know now that the genre Thriller is popular by the audience and that Thrillers are very popular. That makes me happy because now I can feel more comfortable and I have more trust in myself. I have also learned that there are a lot of good Thriller films on the market and I also know now which films are the best 10 at the moment.I makes me feeling good learning all these things.
