    INSTALLATION

    1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.2. Remove the trunk lid/fuel fill door opener cover (four

    retaining tabs and two hooks). Remove one self-tapping screw. Using the key, unlock the trunk lock.

    3. Release the drivers front door sill trim (seven clips, one hook, and two retaining tabs).

    4. Pull away the door opening seal, and remove the drivers kick panel (two clips).

    5. Remove the drivers dashboard lower cover (nine clips and unplug the vehicle connector).

    6. Lower the tilt lever, and turn the steering wheel 90 counterclockwise.

    7. Using a plastic trim tool, release the lock as shown.

    8. Turn the steering wheel 180 clockwise.

    9. Using a plastic trim tool, release the lock as shown.10. Remove the upper column cover (four hooks).

    13. Remove the front bumper: Attach tape around the headlights as shown. Wrap a shop towel around the hood latch.

    Remove the 4 self-tapping screws, 10 short clips, and 2 long clips.

    Release three retaining tabs on each side.

    Release five retaining tabs on each side.

    With the help of an assistant, remove the front bumper (two hex bolts and two clips). Place the front bumper on a blanket to prevent damage.

    14. Remove six clips.

    15. Pull back the right inner fender as shown.16. Remove the front bumper absorber (two hooks).

    Installing the fog lights17. Remove the left cover from the front bumper (nine

    retaining tabs).

    18. Install two spring nuts to the front bumper.

    19. Secure the left fog light to the left fog light cover with three 5 x 16 mm self-tapping screws.

    20. Install the left fog light into the front bumper, with two 5 x 20 mm self-tapping screws.

    21. Repeat steps 17 through 20 on the right side of the bumper.

    Routing the fog light harness 22. Route the fog light harness 1-pin connector and

    ground terminal between the right headlight and the vehicle frame.

    23. Secure the clip to the vehicle frame as shown.24. Remove the blue tape from the vehicle 1-pin

    connector.

    25. Plug the fog light harness 1-pin connector into the vehicle 1-pin connector as shown.

    26. Remove three bolts and one clip, and move the washer tank aside.

    27. Remove the vehicle ground bolt.

    28. Attach the fog light harness ground terminal to the vehicle ground terminal, and reinstall the vehicle ground bolt.

    29. Reinstall the washer tank.

    30. Using four wire ties, secure the fog light harness to the vehicle harness. Do not secure the fog light harness to the washer tube.

    31. Secure the fog light harness to the vehicle hole with one wire tie as shown.

    32. Route the fog light harness along the vehicle beam.

    33. Secure the clip to the vehicle frame as shown.

    34. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, clean the vehicle beam where the aluminum tape will attach.

    35. Cut one aluminum tape in half.36. Align the green tape as shown, and secure the fog

    light harness to the vehicle beam with a cut piece of aluminum tape.

    37. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, clean the vehicle beam where the aluminum tapes will attach.

    38. Cut two aluminum tapes in half.39. Secure the fog light harness to the vehicle beam with

    the four cut pieces of aluminum tape.40. Reinstall the front bumper absorber.

    41. With the help of an assistant, plug the fog light harness 2-pin connector into each fog light, and install the front bumper in the original position. Install the clips securely.

    43. Remove the vehicle harness connector from the vehicle harness 13-pin connector.

    44. Remove the clip from the vehicle harness 13-pin connector, and install clip B on the 13-pin connector.

    45. Unplug the vehicle harness 13-pin connector.

    46. Release the retainer on the vehicle harness 13-pin connector. Insert the switch harness terminal into the 13-pin connector as shown.

    47. Reattach the other vehicle harness connectors to the vehicle harness 13-pin connector. Clip the connectors to the vehicle panel.

    48. Remove the vehicle bolt from the hood opener.

    49. Attach the relay bracket in the position shown, and reinstall the vehicle bolt.

    50. Install clip A on the switch harness relay block.

    Without Another Accessory Harness 4-pin or 6-pin connector

    53. Plug the switch harness 4-pin connector and 6-pin connector into the fuse box. Go to step 56.

    With Another Accessory Harness 6-pin connector54. If the 6-pin connector is already used by another

    accessory, locate the 6-pin connector taped to the other accessory harness. Remove the dummy connector from the accessory harness 6-pin connector and plug the switch harness 6-pin connector into the other accessory harness. Plug the switch harness 4-pin connector into the glove box. Go to step 56.

    accessory, locate the 4-pin connector taped to the other accessory harness. Plug the switch harness4-pin connector into the other accessory harness. Plug the switch harness 6-pin connector into the fuse box.

    57. Using two wire ties, secure the switch harness to the vehicle harness.

    58. Unplug the vehicle connector from the combination light switch.

    59. Push the two retaining tabs and slide the combination light switch out of the steering column. Do not pull on the lever when removing the switch.

    60. Install the new combination light switch onto the steering column. Do not push on the lever.

    61. Plug the vehicle connector into the new combination light switch.

    If a fuse is already installed in the fuse box, go to step 65. If not, continue with step 62.62. Plug the 20A fuse into the fuse box.

    63. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, clean the drivers kick panel where the fuse label will attach.

    64. Attach the fuse label to the drivers kick panel.65. Check that all wire harnesses are routed properly

    and all connectors are plugged in.66. Reinstall all removed parts.67. Reconnect the negative cable to the battery and

    check operation of all lights and other electrical accessories.

    68. Press and hold the radio power button for two seconds to restore radio and navi (if equipped) system functions.

    69. Reset the clock.

    How to Operate the Fog Lights

    Turn the headlight switch to the position (headlights on low beam).

    Turn the fog light switch on (indicator is on).

    If the fog lights do not turn on, check the fuse and all the connectors, including the ground cable.NOTE: The fog light lenses can cloud when the outside temperature is cold; this is normal and should go away in warm weather.

    Fog Light Aiming Adjustment1. Adjust the fog light aim by turning the adjustment

    screw in or out until the correct aim is obtained. Adjust the aim according to local laws and regulations.

    self-tapping screws and unplug the vehicle connector).

    2. Remove the bulb from the fog light as shown.

    3. Install the new bulb into the fog light. Use only a genuine Honda halogen light bulb of

    specified wattage. Rating: 12V 55W H11 Halogen Light Bulb P/N 33165-S5A-0030

    Do not touch the bulb. Oily or greasy substances on the bulb can shorten its service life due to the heat produced when the bulb is lit. If the bulb is accidentally touched, wipe it clean with a soft cloth that has been dampened with a denatured alcohol or a mild detergent solution.

    When installing the new bulb, align the cutout in the fog light with the tab on the new bulb and turn the new bulb until it locks. If the bulb is not properly installed, the fog light may annoy oncoming drivers.

    4. Reinstall the fog light assembly and tighten the self-tapping screws securely. Make sure the wire harness is not pinched.

    5. Check the operation of the fog light. Adjust the aim, if necessary.
