INSTALLATION

Customer Information: The information in thisinstallation instruction is intended for use only by skilledtechnicians who have the proper tools, equipment, andtraining to correctly and safely add equipment to yourvehicle. These procedures should not be attempted by“do-it-yourselfers.”

1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

2. If equipped, remove the driver’s dashboard undercover.

3. Remove the driver’s dashboard lower cover andunplug the vehicle connectors.

4. Using the ignition key, unlock the trunk lid/fuel filldoor opener, then remove the ignition key. Removethe key cover.

5. Remove the self-tapping screw from the trunk lid/fuelfill door opener cover.

7. Pull away the door opening seal and remove thedriver’s kick panel.

22. Install the wireless charger unit on the lower tray withfour self-tapping screws.

25. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, thoroughlyclean the fuse case where the fuse label will attach.Attach the fuse label (3 A WIRELESS CHARGER)on the fuse case.

26. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, thoroughlyclean the area where the urethane tape will attach.

If the vehicle is equipped with an accessory 4-pinconnector, go to step 29; otherwise, continue withstep 28.

33. Plug the remaining wireless charger harness 8-pinconnector into the fuse box.

34. Attach one wire tie with clip around the white tape onthe wireless charger harness, then secure theharness to the hole in the vehicle panel with the clip.Go to step 37.

35. Using diagonal cutters, cut the clip portion off of onewire tie with clip.

36. Attach the cut wire tie with clip around the white tapeon the wireless charger harness and secure thewireless charger harness to the other accessoryharness with one wire tie with clip.

37. Secure the wireless charger harness, wirelesscharger harness 4-pin connector, and wirelesscharger harness 8-pin connector to the vehicleharness with two wire ties.

38. Remove the vehicle ground bolt and secure thewireless charger harness ground terminal to thevehicle ground terminals with one ground bolt. Donot put the ground terminal calkings on top of oneanother.

39. Secure the wireless charger harness 12-pinconnector and wireless charger harness to thevehicle harness with two wire ties.

40. Align the white tape on the wireless charger harnesswith the vehicle clip and secure the wireless chargerharness to the vehicle harness with one wire tie.

45. Secure the wireless charger harness to the centerconsole panel with one clip on the wireless chargerharness. Install the center console panel.

48. Check that all wire harnesses are routed properlyand all connectors are plugged in.

49. Reinstall all removed parts.

50. Reconnect the negative cable to the battery.

51. Press and hold the audio unit power button for 2seconds to restore the audio unit and navi (ifequipped) system functions.

52. Reset the clock (vehicles without navigation).

Check the Operation of the Wireless Charger

53. Check that the wireless charger is working properlyas described in the Accessory User’s InformationManual supplied with this kit.
