A Growing LegacyWe have it all. Brighto Paints has been making Pakistan’s paint industry radiant as ever since 1973.

A New Generation of ProductionTo be a market leader, one must possess the dedication, astute judgment skills, and a clear vision in order to progress in the paint industry.

In 1973, Mr. Sikka launched Brighto Paints at Saeed Park, Shahdara, Lahore and began the production of Synthetic Enamel Paint. This step paved the way for a unique production process, which is now being followed as an industrial practice.

The Era of Colors BeginsThe objective was simple: a paint product with international quality standards available at every doorstep in Pakistan.

That was the intention of Mr. Kh. Riaz Ahmed Sikka when he launched Brighto Paints in 1973, to supply locally produced paint surpassing all global quality standards using leading edge technology in paint production all across the nation.

Ahead of its TimeOver the years, Mr. Sikka’s broad vision led to the expansion of Brighto Paints. In 1981 at Majid Street, Bara Dari Road, Shahdara, Lahore a new production plant was launched. Equipped with a remarkable production facility, a devoted workforce and the latest techniques and facilities to produce high quality products, this plant became an example in its own right. Another milestone that marked this year was the production of water-based paints. This provided Pakistanis with an exceptional opportunity of purchasing locally produced paints of international standards.

The Age of InnovationOil based paints were introduced in Pakistan at a time when no other paint brands were making them. In 1989, Brighto Paints established the first Alkyd Resin plant, under the name of Sikka Enterprises. It was designed to process the essential raw materials: soybean, vegetable oil and other such additives for alkyd resin. The management took rigorous steps and scrutinized procedures to ensure that the quality remains unparalleled to this day.

Making a Mark in the New MillenniumBrighto Paints rose to higher levels of professionalism after years of hard work and successfully became a household name in the Pakistani market. Their consistent superior quality of paint products opened doors leading to success and new opportunities. In 2000, it became incorporated as a private limited company under the Company’s Ordinance Act of 1973.

Brighto Paints the WorldAcceptance for Brighto Paints, in the global market, came in 2004, when Brighto Paints expanded its operations to Afghanistan. In October 2012, Brighto travelled further overseas after kicking off operations in Ras-Al-Khaimah (UAE), and established a unit there to cater to the needs of the UAE, Africa, Saudi Arabian and Omani markets. This became possible due to the infallible commitment of Brighto Paints to steadily mass-produce exceptional quality paint in state-of-the-art facilities. The business scope of Brighto Paints is steadily increasing, which makes it one of the few companies in Pakistan to produce their products locally and be the first to export them to foreign markets.

A Brighter EarthBrighto Paints takes environmental issues very seriously. As a company that deals with a lot of chemicals and different sorts of processes, Brighto takes major steps to avoid excessive chemical waste. Safety methods that are used globally are practiced in Brighto Paints and great measures are taken to cut down air and chemical pollution. The colors of the natural world can never be replaced and Brighto makes sure that they do everything to preserve the beauty of planet Earth.

New Age, New TechnologyIn 2005, a new fully automated in-house Resin Plant was built according to international standards. The plant was built on Raiwind Road, Lahore. The new plant was ISO Certified and has won many awards ever since. The latest in paint technology allowed Brighto Paints to usher in the In Mold Labelling (IML) feature in Pakistan. Amongst its many capabilities, Brighto Paints improved its capacity to produce water and oil-based paints, and provide the gallon design technology.

Broadening the SpectrumCorporate identities are vital to sustaining the longevity of a brand. In 2007, Brighto Paints decided to revamp its image and unique corporate identity by streamlining its communication and marketing strategies. For this Brighto Paints assembled an in-house marketing division comprising of the sharpest and most experienced professionals dedicated to strengthening the bonds between the company and its customers.

Awarded with Flying ColorsThe year 2011 brought another historical moment for Brighto Paints when it became the first company in Pakistan to achieve the International Quality Crown Award in Gold Category by Business Initiative Directions in London. In 2012, Brighto won the Consumer’s Choice Award for being a customer favorite due to maintaining high standards and expanding their range of products while maintaining the quality that customers expect.

Brighto All ColorThe Automated Tinting System technology allowed Brighto Paints to once again be the pace-setter in the market. Brighto “All Color” is a fully automated consumer operated machine. Thousands of color combinations are now available at the fingertips of the customers, and can be viewed under actual room conditions; hence removing the conventional and ready mix palettes from the equation and bringing the consumers the complete freedom of choice for the ideal color combinations, shades or hues they desire.
