Plastic enclosures in ABS or Polycarbonate are available in a widerange of standard sizes. Metal enclosures can be manufactured tocustomer specific dimensions while still retaining IP 65/66 ingressprotection in sheet steel, stainless steel AISI304 and AISI316.

All standard boxes need at least some modification before use so whynot let us quote for your requirement to see how competitive thisoption can be.

Machining servicesEnclosures can be machined with cut outs, holes, threaded holes andcountersinks to the highest level of accuracy and quality. There is nominimum order quantity for this service and while bigger volumes will

help reduce the price we can still be cost effective even on smallerquantities.

Silk screen printingEnclosures can be customised by silk screen printing and with thismethod it is easy to add company logos, operating instructions andsymbols even for smaller batch sizes.

EMC issues grounded with flexible Earth Braids

With EMC issues more relevant in industrial automation it isimportant to have a good ground connection. Unlike standardearth cables and lugs; braided earths, due to their construction,eliminate low and high frequency disturbances.

MBS earth braids are manufactured with press welded ends withvarious pre-stamped hole sizes so require no additional connectionclamps or drilling.

The flexible braids are available in tinned copper for extra protection orbare copper if preferred. OEM Automatic has a range of standardlengths from 100mm to 500mm available from stock for immediatedelivery. These braids are an ideal solution for bonding control panel doors or external equipment grounds in manydifferent applications.

The units are designed to be used in anumber of applications for examplemechanical or plant engineering, process,production, warehouse and conveyortechnology. Thanks to the modularconstruction every user can select the mostsuitable solution for a safe motion in speedand/or position.

The modules can be extended from thesimple over speed relay up to a completesafety control system. In addition, the devices are freely programmable for thesafe processing of light barriers, doormonitoring, emergency stop/offpushbuttons, two-hand control units etc.

The modules achieve the functionality of acomplete safe drive controller and evenboast a type certificate released by theTUV. The graphic programming usingsystems has a very simple structure anddoes not require any specific programmingknowledge. Validating the software is also part of safe control and for this

purpose the Safety-M modules print out avalidation report.

With 4MB of internal memory up to534,000 records can be stored andaccessed via RS-485. For extra storage ofup to 4GB there is an optional front panelmemory card slot which can also be usedfor quickly transferring the internally storeddata without the use of RS-485.

The LCD display shows the value beingmeasured at the input along with the unit ofmeasurement and the status of the alarmoutputs. The unit can be programmed fromthe front panel buttons or via a PC usingthe free LPConfig software.

Programmable parameters include all inputcharacteristics along with mathematicalfunctions and multi point scaling for non-linear applications.

Completely modularAll body diameter options are completely modular so can be easily assembled and re assembled in any configuration. The modules are connected to each other using aprecise bayonet locking system and the electrical connection is made automatically.


DIN rail timers are essentialfor volume users

Contaclip has enhanced their market leading “Feed throughscrew terminals” range with the addition of two newaccessories. The “Clip-on test adaptors” and “Snap-inpick-off terminals” help make this range one of the mostinnovative on the market.

“SMAG pick-off terminals” can be fitted in the 4mm-10mmterminals giving up to 2 extra connections. The SMAG’s aremechanically snapped into the SRK/SSL terminal housing and thebusbar is connected into the terminal block. Available as 4mm to2.5mm, 6mm to 4 and 10mm to 6mm.

“STA test adaptors” can be fitted quickly and easily onto the fullrange of SRK/SSL terminals. Thanks to the design the adaptor canbe used where cross connectors are already fitted. This is achievedby rotating the adaptor by 180° thus allowing a connection in theother cross connect channel. Any number of STA’s can bemounted together with the aid of locking pins and intermediatespacer plates.

Power supplies just keep on getting smaller

The new CPS20 power supply packs a mighty 480W of output power into a DIN rail housing only 65mm wide!

Puls power supplies are well known forhigh efficiency and at 94% this unit is noexception. High efficiency not onlyallows smaller housings but means thatless heat is generated leading toincreased component reliability andmuch longer lifetime.

SMS relaywith enhancedfeatures

The email function allows for a betteroverview of messages and makes it easierto collate and sort alarm and status reports.It is possible to configure the unit to workusing your own server or alternatively theContaclip server can handle all the emailfunctions without any extra cost or thirdparty involvement.

All 8 inputs can be configured as digital oranalogue (0-10VDC) and the unit has anoperating voltage of between 10...30Vdc sois also suited for mobile applications. It is also possible to link 4 of the inputsdirectly to the 4 change over relay outputsto give some simple logic function.

GSM-PRO now has a built-in hours counterfor the digital inputs as well as a full eventdata log that can be easily downloaded orsent automatically by email.

Programming of the GSM-PRO could notbe easier. The software is free to downloadand the unit can be remotely programmedfrom anywhere in the world providing youhave an internet connection. This negatesthe need for site visits to update any usersettings or firmware.

Coming SoonAvailable soon will be the new GSM-PROportal which is easy to use software that willallow you to remotely monitor an unlimitednumber of GSM-PRO modules in the field.

The system is based on port forwarding; theonly thing that is required is the IP addressand port in the modules you want to monitorplus an internet connection with a fixed IPaddress.

The GSM-PRO relay module provides a remote control &maintenance solution that can signal changes of inputs and outputsthrough text messages and email.
