What is it?

The Innergy Award recognises individuals and teams whoseinnovative ideas have been successfully implemented, and whoseinnovations contribute significantly to MOE¶s mission.

Innovative projects from officers (projects, services, or programs)that significantly add value to the work of the school and canpreferably be scaled up.

Innovative idea should be implemented in school in the year prior

to its nomination.

Projects are evaluated based on the degree of innovativeness andimpact on the school community and beyond.



Eg 1: Tampines Secondary

LOST IN ALGEWOODS ± a life-sizedstrategy board game that requires

students to evaluate algebraic

expressions as they physically move

around the board

Encourage students to master algebraic

fundamentals

Teams have to strategise and solve

algebraic questions to collect more

points

Result: Students¶ heightened interest in algebra

± Exploring algebraic concepts that most secondary

students may not be interested in
