Northwest Nazarene University invites you to participate in our 2015 Wesley Center Conference titled “Holy Wit: On Mirth As It Is In Heaven.” Join us on Thursday and Friday, March 19-20, as we explore how we become more fully hu-man by welcoming gracious good humor into our lives. Dr. Will Willimon will be one of our guides in helping us learn to laugh at ourselves. Recognized today as one of America’s leading preachers, Willimon was formerly a United Method-ist bishop and dean of the chapel at Duke University, where he now serves the divinity school as professor of the practice of ministry. He is the author of countless books, articles, and sermons, including titles like “Resident Aliens: Life in the Christian Colony”; the “Wesley Study Bible”; “And the Laugh Shall Be First: A Treasury of Religious Humor”; and “Family, Friends, and Other Funny People: Memories of Growing Up Southern.”

Did your church participate in the Seminarian Offering Sunday on *January 25?

This annual offering provides import-ant financial support for NTS, but most

importantly it provides much needed fi-nancial support for our future pastors, mission-

aries, chaplains, evangelists and teachers.

The SEMINARIAN OFFERING is about our students and their capacity to serve the church and respond to the call God has placed on their lives. Together, we can help them fulfill this calling. Your investment via the SEMINARIAN OFFERING is an investment in the future of our congre-gations globally. Our students are asking you to SEND THEM—they are ready and we want to provide them with the financial support that preparation and education re-quires. *Please Note: Churches are welcome to take an offering for and/or promote their partnership with NTS on Seminarian Offering Sunday or on the Sunday that is most convenient for them!
