Action Movie - Pitch

SaviourWealthy man visits orphanage. Carer abuses children. Man isnt aware of this, drops girl back who hid in his car; she gets beaten for this.

ObscureMan travels searching for brother. They met & some people attack. His brother ends up paralysed. Brothers identity hidden from him. Finds out brother is wanted.

Peer & teacher feedbackI pitched my idea of a film opening called Obscure. The feedback I got from my peers and teacher was that it sounded like a good storyline which also involved action. However, they told me to take into consideration where this would be filmed as it involved a wealthy man and an orphanage so I couldnt just film it at any old place. It would have to suit the context. They also mentioned that I would need to be very particular with the casting as I couldnt have people that looked old to play young orphans and I couldnt get a teenager to play a wealthy man either. One problem we would face was getting young actors to play the part of the young orphans, preferable kids 16 yrs. or younger as I would need to get parent consent as they would be underage so this would create a lot of setbacks for us. Another issue was finding someone who looked old enough, preferably the age of 25+. We would either have to get an actual adult or find a student which didnt look too young. Overall, my peers did like my idea but some felt it would take careful thinking and planning to get the right cast and locations for the opening sequence. It would require a lot of work. However, I believe, if we plan this really well and put a lot of thought into it, it would turn out to be a very successful opening sequence for an action movie.
