1. How to get to UNWTO (from Barajas Airport)

a. By taxi: Taxi fare from the airport to Madrid: between 20 and 30 Euros

(depending on your destination and on traffic). The address for UNWTO headquarters is: Calle Capitán Haya, 42.

b. By metro: Subway map (attached “Subway map”)

Cuzco is the subway station for the UNWTO headquarters. (From the airport: Line 8: Aeropuerto – Nuevos Ministerios, then Line 10: Nuevos Ministerios – Cuzco).

Note: there are two subway stations for Barajas Airport (Aeropuerto), one for Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and another for Terminal 4.

Don’t forget to mention that you are attending an official meeting at UNWTO to obtain the UNWTO rate. Confirm the rate when making your reservation to avoid surprises. Internet rates shown in the list attached are not always available.
