THE PTA VISION

To create a better everyday School

experience for the students at ISH

• The PTA is elected from those who volunteer to help every year and operates for a calendar year.

• Class Parents are selected at the beginning of each school year, normally at Academic Evenings.

• The PTA board meets approximately every 4 weeks and a full meeting with all class representatives is held 1 or 2 times a year.

• A voluntary donation of 300 / 500 SEK per family is requested at the beginning of each school year to help subsidise activities within the school; provide funding towards class trips; organise social events for parents, students and teachers; support special needs within the school.

• Recent Projects– Over the recent years the money raised by the PTA

has helped the school in numerous ways. This includes, but is not limited to:

• 100’s of new books for the school library• Purchase of ISH team kit• Refurbishment of MYP5 & DP Student Lounge• Playground equipment• PE equipment• Musical instruments• 75 kr per student contribution to class trips
