How did we get here? Improvements in the quality of factories by
1900. Workers are protected through laws and
unions Standard of living is raised. Governments see the need for a “LITERATE
WORKFORCE” Establish public education Most teachers not trained well, but it is a start.
High schools are created – teaching Latin, Greek, Mathematics and…. HISTORY!
