Developing Strategy

The developing strategy follows overall vision, mission and

objectives statements, which will be developed from the

SWOT analysis results

A development plan describes these aims for the different

stages in detail

The development plan will schedule building stages, which

can be identified by the planning data base with the required

resources by year

The development profile and emphasis changes throughout

the stages

To ensure the achievement the developing stages aims,

different winning strategies have to be worked out, each

winning strategy for a period of 5 years

StrategicFunction Design

Strategic Function Design

StrategicLayout Design

Strategic function design plans the general location areas

without the exact allocation (this will be done by the strategic

layout design)

Identification of core issues for the industrial park (e.g. affinity

of functions to different sub-areas of the overall site,

percentage of added value, support of main customers,

market forecasts and the interference with other functions /

industries)

Development of a guideline for the functional design

Calculation process from the results of the market survey for

different areas with consideration of best practice examples

Consideration of regional situation (geography, traffic etc.)

Definition and rough allocation of toplevel areas
