The frame preparation and construction of the die predestine the quality of Aluminium profile; this belief, has led us, right from our beginning, to establish a dedicated department committed to this crucial stage of production.

In order to meet the highest production standards and solutions, Aluminco invested on a state of the art die manufacturing equipment and on one of the largest Robotic Warehouses of 9.000 dies capacity.

During the recent years, the plant has evolved to an integrated vertical aluminium industry.

In den letzten Jahren hat sich die Produktionsstätte zu einem Industriebetrieb mit vertikaler Integration entwickelt.

The extrusion department of Aluminco is the “heart” of the factory. Our unit is fully automated equipped with the latest software and hardware.

The advanced cooling system of our extrusion press is fully automated, constantly controls the temperature of the extruded profile through air, keeping the appropriate cooling rate for each alloy and temper. The extrusion line is also equipped with automated stacker machine without any human contact, eliminating the risk of damaging the extruded profile.

Furthermore, the ageing ovens are fully automated with continuous temperature control and real time adjustment, safeguarding the optimum temper results.

Die Extrusionsabteilung von Aluminco ist das “Herz” der Anlage. Unsere Abteilung verfügt über vollautomatische Ausstattung, mit der neuesten Software und Hardware.

Das fortschrittliche Kühlungssystem unserer Strangpresse ist vollautomatisch mit ständiger Temperaturkontrolle des extrudierten Profils durch Luft, die die angemessene Kühlungsrate für jede Legierung bzw. Mischung sichert. Die Extrusionslinie ist ebenfalls ausgestattet mit automatischem Stapler ohne jeglichen menschlichen Kontakt, was die Gefahr einer Beschädigung des extrudierten Profils reduziert.

Darüber hinaus sind die Alterungsöfen vollautomatisch mit ständiger Temperaturkontrolle und Echtzeit-Justierung, zur Sicherung optimaler Mischungsresultate.

The power of 30,000 Amps renders our unit flexible and highly productive, with all quality parameters checked throughout all stages of production. The anodizing rinsing process is an electrochemical process in which the aluminum surface is transformed and creates artificial oxidation which protects against corrosion, with a total of twenty baths. Aluminium anodizing increases corrosion resistance, especially in areas with extreme climatic conditions and provides better adhesion for paint creating a very durable external coating.

Color VariationsWe can provide various shades such as: Natural, Champagne, Light Bronze, Dark Bronze, Black, Inox, Gold, etc. Also, in many cases it is possible to follow the customer’s sample.

The paint thickness of the paint is specified by the customer’s needs on the use of the products and reaches up to 25mm (microns).

Die automatische Produktions- Stätte bietet Profillängen bis zu 7.5 m. Anodisierte Oberflächen werden verschiedenen mechanischen Behandlungen unterzogen Bürsten, mechanisches Polieren gemäß den Kundenansprüchen.Die Stärke von 30,000 Amps macht unsere Produktions-stätte flexibel und hochproduktiv, wobei während aller Produktion-sphasen sämtliche Qualitätsparameter überprüft werden. Der Anodisierungsprozess ist ein elektromechanischer Prozess, bei dem die Aluminiumoberfläche umgeformt und künstlich oxydiert wird, was gegen Korrosion schützt, mit insgesamt zwanzig Bädern. Die Anodisierung von Aluminium verstärkt die Korrosionsbeständigkeit, besonders in Bereichen mit extremen Witterungsverhältnissen und bietet darüber hinaus eine bessere Haftfläche für die Farbe, was eine sehr beständige Außenbeschichtung schafft.

The packaging of the final product is as important as all the previous steps in the production chain. The company invested on a fully automated packaging line gaining a substantial competitive advantage from the given flexibility.

All of the bundles are palletized having as a main concern the full profile protection.

Except from the standard packaging our company is flexible to produce custom made solutions according to the customer or product unique needs.

The effectiveness of the system is ensured by the use of raw materials that are environmentally friendly, the low consumption by promoting renewable energy sources and the systematic management of waste generated by the manufacturing process.

Use of Raw MaterialsThe main raw material used is aluminum, which is an ecological material of natural origin, non-toxic, 100% recyclable, in order not to have a negative effect on health and the environment.

The use of recycled aluminium in the production process increases more and more every year which reduces energy consumption and CO2 emissions up to 95%.

To achieve this, we receive information regarding the cycle of life of our products, providing knowledge for the development of new aluminum products where they have the ability to absorb more recycled aluminum.

Additionally the packaging of aluminium profiles is being done only by recyclable material the eco-painting technology in our certified with QUALICOAT paint shop the use of the powders free from dangerous substances to the environment and humans the close cooperation with our suppliers and our customers to minimize the use of chemicals and always according to international regulations.

Energy consumption and renewableOur company has completed the installation of a photovoltaic power system 1.2 Mwp at owned facilities on industrial property to the Prefecture of Viotia. The cooperation with the Greek electricity company for the sale of "clean" energy held on 26 May 2012.

In the first year the annual production was 1.750, 400 KWh of electricity, equivalent to the annual consumption of about 481 households. Regarding the environmental benefits of the project, over 1,700 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) was saved annually.

Recycling and wasteDuring the actual recycling process only a small percentage of the metal has turned into aluminum oxide. The recycling process itself requires only about 5% of the energy consumed for the production of primary aluminium. Because of this, 95% of energy and reducing emissions can be achieved.

At the same time, the garbage collection, sorting, storage and processed is being done in cooperation with authorized certified companies, through an effective waste management system.

Des Weiteren wird die Verpackung von Aluminiumprofilen nur durch wiederverwertbares Material durchgeführt; die eco-painting Technologie in unserem mit QUALICOAT zertifizierten Lackier-Shop; die Verwendung von Pulver ohne jegliche für Umwelt und Mensch gefährliche Substanzen; die enge Kooperation mit unseren Zulieferern und unseren Kunden, um die Verwendung von Chemikalien zu reduzieren und stets gemäß der internationalen Verordnungen.
