Athletic trainers are qualified health professionals who are trained in preventing, recognizing, managing, and rehabilitating injuries that result from physical activity/sports.

One must graduate from a bachelors or masters degree program accredited by the Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE)

Disadvantages: Work hours can be long and unpredictable. You follow a teams schedule. A bachelor’s degree is a minimum requirement.

Advantages:

The athletic training field is one that should continue to be in demand.If you enjoy sports and being around sports, then being an athletic trainer is a good way to be involved.

I want to pursue this career because I love sports and I have always had a knack for taking care of others, it seems perfect.
