We are ADNBA, a group of dynamic architects, always in search of the right balance between experiment and experience. We are currently involved in a diverse body of work, including mostly residential, office and public projects. In all of these, we strive for a wider and wiser understanding of the city and its evolution, this being also the essential background for our thoughts, hopes and doubts. But upon this background, the specific situation which each project and place bring to us, togeth-er with its fragile ties to the people, the neighbourhoods and their stories, is what interests us most.

A Corner Solution in Bucharest: Aaron Florian ApartmentHouse by ADNBA
Strada Aaron Florian is a quiet cul-de-sac in the north
of Bucharest’s inner city. It is difficult to recognize any
orderly structure to the block here, as it is in the
neighbouring districts. Most of the houses were
conceived as solitaires and arranged loosely along the
street. The heights of their eaves have little to do with
each other.
Nevertheless, broad stretches produce the image of a
typical southern European city with many closed-off
street spaces. This is just what the ADNBA architecture
studio wanted to recreate with their new five-storey
apartment building. The irregularly cut plot of land and
the line of the street, which curves just in front of the
plot, required an unconventional solution.
The imposing, white-plastered structure seems to float
above the glazed ground floor. The first upper storey is

Despre Hilariopolis, amenajările în miniaturămarca ADNBA
La sfârșitul lunii mai, pe tot parcursul Romanian Design Week 2017, era greu să deschizi Facebook-ul sauInstagram-ul și să nu dai peste vreo nouă amenajare miniaturală modelată în cele mai mici amănunte șifotografiată din fiecare unghi, care de care mai artistic. În cazul în care nu ai apucat să ajungi la expozițiacentrală a evenimentului, îți spunem aici despre ce e vorba: colecția de machete pe suport de hârtieHilariopolis, realizată de echipa ADN Birou de Arhitectură, despre care ți-am mai povestit aici, cândte anunțam că sunt primul birou de arhitectură românesc invitat atunci la Bienala de la Veneția.
Anul acesta, ADNBA au adus pentru prima dată la Romanian Design Week machetele și deseneleHilariopolis (supranume al Bucureștiului în secolul al XVIII-lea) – un amalgam de clădiri, străzi, curți șivieți redesenat, suprapus și stratificat. Noi am fost de-a dreptul hipnotizați de migala amenajărilor pusesub lupă, de fiecare aparat electrocasnic recreat în amănunt, de fiecare cearșaf răvășit, fiecare carte uitatăpe vreo etajeră și fiecare decorațiune. Toate devin mai importante decât clădirile în sine.

Aaron Florian Apartment Building, is an honest answer to a particular urban
setting: an irregular plot, the closeness of the opposite buildingraising privacy
issues, a blind wall to a difficult neighbour and an inflection of the street. All
these produce an atypical configuration - a building with floors successively
recessed, the upper floors providing more light to the narrow street and the
exterior spaces directing the views along it.

Imobilul rezidenţial situat la intersecţia străzilor Washington şi Londra a apărut
recent în pei sa jul urban bucureştean, indicând apartenenţa la ima ginea ADNBA prin
moderaţia discursului şi e le ganţa intervenţiei arhitecturale.
Proiectul este câştigător al secţiunii „Arhitectura locuinţei” din cadrul Anualei de
Arhitectură Bucureşti 2017.

BIM / REVIT:We implemented BIM into our workflow which helps us improve collaboration between the different disciplines involved in the design process, while significantly reducing labor time. It also helps us reduce the risk of potential on-site clashes between building elements. With BIM, designers benefit from all of the different inputs compiled and shared in a model—in a way that 2D software isn’t able to capture. Another of the advantages of BIM is the increasing number of simulation tools that allow designers to visualize the spaces they are creating in real time and study such things as the sunlight during different seasons. BIM enables teams to collaborate and communicate more effectively by allowing them to get a truly global view of a project.

Dezvoltatorul Forte Partners are autorizaţia de construcţie pentru o nouă clădire de burouri înBucureşti, pe un teren de 1.700 de mp, aflat în imediata apropiere a Palatului Telefoanelor.Lucrările de construcţie la proiectul de 25 de milioane de euro vor fi demarate în curând,potrivit informaţiilor ECONOMICA.NET .
Clădirea va avea o suprafaţă închiriabilă de 8.400 de mp.
Forte Partners a cumpărat în toamna anului trecut un teren de 1.700 de mp din spatelehotelului Novotel. Terenul este situat într-o zonă istorică a Capitalei, în imediata vecinătate aPalatului Telefoanelor, prima clădire înaltă din București construită pe structură metalică.
