This trophy was presented to the Inglewood Show Society by the lateMiss Jean Cheshire.

The trophy will be awarded to the most successful individual familyexhibitors.

Points will be allotted equally in all sections of the schedule.

ADMISSION TO GROUNDS (Membership and Privileges)The Membership Subscription shall be twenty dollars per annumand payable at the date of the Annual Meeting of the Society.Members on payment of their subscription shall receive from theSecretary one member, one guest ticket, and complimentarytickets for children 15 years and under, non-transferable, entitlingthe holder to the following rights:

a run off.• If a competitor is not ready to compete after he or she has been called three (3)

times they will be eliminated.• The Inglewood Show Society Campdraft committee reserves the right to restrict

campdraft entries if cattle numbers are insufficient.• No deposit nominations will be accepted, all nominations to be paid in full.• Refunds applicable to late scratchings will be at the discretion of the Committee

with each case to be treated on its merits. A 100% refund of the nomination shallbe given if the competitor withdraws more than 7 days prior to 8am on the firstmorning of the program. The nomination can be retained if the competitor does notwithdraw in the allotted time frame. If a competitor withdraws within 72 hours priorto 8am on the first morning of the program, committees are entitled to keep theentire amount of the competitors nomination fee, unless when extenuatingcircumstances apply. A Stock Levy of $10 is included in all Entry Fees. Anycompetitor who wishes to lodge a complaint at an affiliated Campdraft must lodgethe complaint in writing with the Secretary within one hour of the incident takingplace. A fee of $20 must be lodged with the complaint. If the complaint is dismissedby the Committee the $20 is forfeited.

JIM GOODRICH PERPETUAL TROPHYThis trophy will be awarded to the rider of the highest score of the firstrounds in each of Maiden, Novice and Open Campdrafts. Best aggregatetotal will be declared the winner. If there are equal scores then there will bea run off with one horse of the competitors choice.A trophy will be awarded for retention by “The Goodrich Family”.

TYRANOOK TROPHYAwarded to the Lady competitor with the highest score in any one round ofthe Campdraft including the finals.Prize donated by Kym McMaster.

INGLEWOOD TROPHYAwarded to the Highest Placed Local Competitor in the Maiden Campdraft,Highest in the First Round (If no Local in the Final) or Highest in the Final.Local means that horse and rider are residents of the previousInglewood Shire.Prize donated by Kevin, Denise, Darcy & Toby Hobbs.

MUST decide.5. All first prize winners are eligible to compete in Championship classes

without further ticket entry.6. Horses second to the awarded Champion are eligible to work for Reserve

Champion.7. LOCAL CLASSES – for horse and rider that are residents of the previous

Inglewood Shire and/or are current financial members of the Inglewood PonyClub.

8. LADY HACK/GALLOWAY/ASH CLASSES – for lady riders 17 years & over.9. MAIDEN HACK– is a Hack that has not won a hack class in competiton at

an affiliated show. After winning a maiden hack class this horse will berecognized as a novice.

10. NOVICE – is a horse that has not won an Open Championship at anAgricultural Show or a first place at a Royal Show.

11. Pony Hack Classes to be ridden by a rider under 17 years.12. Horses are either exhibited as either OPEN or SHOWHUNTER – not both.13. Junior riders are not prohibited to wear top boots.14. All exhibits in Breed Classes must be registered with the appropriate Society

and Exhibitors to be current financial members. Registration andmembership forms to be produced on request.

15. STALLIONS – excluded from all Ridden Pony, Galloway and Hack Classes,Rider Classes and Sporting Events.

16. All stallions to be suitably restrained and if stabling is not available then acollar is to be worn and securely tied up.

MEASURING1. Is NOT compulsory but exhibitors will be responsible for ensuring that

their horses are in the correct height classes.2. In the event of an official complaint a Certificate of Height from the

EFA/Show Hack council will be required or the measurer will measurethe horse, the height on the day will be accepted.

REGULATIONS

1. Wool exhibits to be in the hands of the stewards before 5.00pm on theThursday prior to the show, judging will be on the Friday of show.

2. Exhibitor must state, by means of an affixed tag, in which class wool is to beexhibited. Exhibitors name must be clearly marked on each individualexhibit. Exhibits not clearly marked will not be eligible for judging.

3. ENTRY FEE: $4.00. Entry fees are exempt if an exhibitor donates one ormore fleeces to the society.

4. All fleeces are to be shorn from sheep that have been the bona-fide propertyof the exhibitor for the past 12 months.

5. All fleeces are to be skirted except where otherwise started.6. ALL PRIZES: Ribbons will be suitably inscribed and trophies given where

indicated.7. Judges will be appointed by the Brisbane Wool Selling Broker’s Association.8. LOCAL means grown in the previous Inglewood Shire.9. Wool will be received and stored at the owner’s risk at any time prior to the

Show by this Society by arrangement with the steward.10. The Inglewood Show Society take no responsibility for any variations in

micron testing of wool at the show.11. The following points system will be used for judging all classes:

12. In judging the “three matching fleeces”, 50 points will be the maximum foruniformity.

14. If, in the opinion of the judges, a fleece is not made up of wool from the onesheep, ALL fleeces from the exhibitor will be DISQUALIFIED.

15. Fleeces which, in the opinion of the judges, are overgrown, will be

Method - Place butter, marmalade, mixed fruit,spice, soda, sugar and cold water into a saucepan. Boil for 2 minutes, coolslightly, add eggs, fold in sifted flour, bake in 20cm round tin at 160°c (140°cfanforce) for 1 hour or little longer.

BY-LAWS & REGULATIONSThe Inglewood Show Society Inc is a non-profit organization and moniesraised are used to provide, maintain and upgrade these amenities wherepossible.

1. The attention of intending exhibitors is drawn to the fact that entries are acceptedsubject to the Rules of the Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Societies and tothe Constitution and Rules of this Society.

2. Patrons enter the Inglewood Showgrounds are their own risk.3. All contestants compete at own risk. Children must be supervised at all times and

are the sole responsibility of their parent or guardian. Patrons are to be aware ofthe danger of all animals, vehicles & machinery.

4. In the interest of safety and the wellbeing of livestock and spectators alike,visitors are asked to keep clear of livestock and areas where livestockcongregate.

5. Unaccompanied children and spectators must not go into the arena or livestockworking areas.

6. Liquor must ONLY be consumed in designated licensed areas. No glass bottlesare permitted to be brought onto the Showground.

7. All dogs whilst on the Showground must be tied up or restrained inside t rucks orfloats.

8. All entries must be made on printed forms available from the Secretary onapplication. As far as possible all questions concerned thereon shall beanswered. No entry form shall be valid unless signed by the exhibitor or hisagent. Entrance fees shall be payable on all exhibits as specified under eachsection or class in the Prize Schedule, such fees to accompany certificate ofentry.No exhibit can compete for more than one class excepting where otherwisestated. Exhibitors must, if called upon, furnish the name of the person by whom,or where, the stock was actually bred, together with the age, breed and pedigreeof such stock as far as it is known for all classes in which same is a condition ofthe competition.

9. The Inglewood Show Society recommends that all intending exhibitors oflivestock are holders of Public Liability Insurance cover. This cover indemnifiesthe owner for their legal liability for body injury or damage to persons and/orproperty as a result of an occurrence caused by the negligence of their animalswhilst attending or participating in Show events.

10. The Committee reserves the right of refusing or cancelling any entry withoutgiving reasons for so doing. The Committee reserves the right if adjudication onany questionable entry or any other point not provided for in the rules and lawsof this Society and of making any alteration that may be deemed necessary. Thedecision of the Committee on all points shall be FINAL without recourse.

11. All exhibits must be delivered to the Showgrounds in the manner and at the timesprescribed at the heading of each section. Noncompliance with this provision willresult in the non-acceptance of the exhibits and forfeiture of the entry fee.

12. The Society will not be responsible for any accident caused to, or through, or byany exhibit or person, and will not under any circumstances hold itselfresponsible for any loss or misdelivers livestock or other exhibit of any kind, orany damage done thereto.

13. The Committee shall select for all sections, and fill up any subsequent vacancies.All exhibits shall be judged on their merit, and a book prepared by the Secretarycontaining the entries shall be signed by the Judges, who will mark awards on apaper supplied to them by the Stewards. The Judges shall as far as possible,assign reasons, through the Secretary, for their decisions, if required.The Judges shall have the power to award a second prize if the exhibit is notconsidered worthy of first, and shall not award any prize if the exhibit is not ofsufficient merit.

14. The Committee will appoint Stewards for all sections.There will be a Steward in charge of each Section, and they shall attend at thetime and place allotted to them by the Committee.The Stewards will check all entries as to their correctness before judgingcommences.The Steward will sign the award books conjointly with the Judges, prepare PrizeCards and Ribbons, and in the event of a dispute, shall certify the correctnessand identity of the awards.The Steward shall carefully explain to the Judges the conditions of thecompetition in each class, but shall not under any circumstances discuss themerits or demerits of exhibits and shall not, unless absolutely necessary,approach or have any conversation with the Judge whilst he or she isadjudicating, or allow exhibitors or the public to do so.Stewards will report to the Secretary any disobedience to their orders, ordisorderly conduct on the part of exhibitors or those in charge of exhibits.Stewards shall arrange exhibits, and no exhibit must afterwards be removedwithout the sanction of the Stewards, under penalty of forfeiture of any prizewhich may have been awarded to the exhibitor: or such other penalty ordisqualification as the Committee may decide. The Society or its representativeswill not incur any responsibility for the removal of such exhibits. Every care willbe taken of exhibits, but the Society will not be responsible for any losses, death,or accidents.

15. All protests must be lodged with the Secretary within TWO HOURS of the Judge’saward being made, together with a deposit of $5.00, such sum to be forfeited ifthe protest be considered frivolous by the Committee. In all cases where protestsare lodged the exhibitor must carefully describe particulars under which helodges his protest, as no general protest can be recognised by the Committee. Inthe hearing of all protests and disputes arising out of the awards, the Committeeshall abide by the Judges’ award papers, unless it be shown that the Judges havebeen wilfully or accidentally misled.

16. All works or other exhibits being sold by auction on the Showgrounds will besubject to a payment of 5 percent to go to the Society’s funds, but all suchexhibits shall be given voluntarily.

17. In the event of sale, stock prize ribbons will be available for the purchaser forfour weeks for display purposes and then revert to the exhibitor.

18. Any person, whether a competitor or not, who in the opinions of the ShowCommittee, behaves in an offensive manner, either inside or outside the ring toany official of the Society or Judge, shall be liable to disqualification from furthercompetition. The decision of the Judges shall be final and any competitor orexhibitor who abuses either Judges or officials, and is found guilty after enquiryby the Committee, shall be disqualified from further participation in this Show. Areport shall be immediately forwarded to the Queensland Chamber of AgriculturalSocieties and will result in the automatic suspension of the competitor orexhibitor from all shows for the remainder of the season.

19. WORKPLACE HEALTH AND SAFETY(a) All Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Societies Inc. affiliated AssociationsShowground’s are designated workplaces within the meaning of the WorkplaceHealth and Safety Act 2011 and exhibitors / competitors are required to ensurethat they and all persons under their direction or control, including theircontractors or subcontractors, comply with all requirements of the Act and theQueensland Chamber of Agricultural Associations Inc. holds each exhibitorresponsible to discharge its obligations to provide and maintain a safe place andsystem of work during occupation by the exhibitor/competitor of any area of theaffiliated Agricultural Associations Showground’s.(b) Each exhibitor/competitor will assess the risk to themselves, staff, volunteers,family, other exhibitors, Agricultural Society staff, show visitors, children and anyperson foreseeably affected by the presentation of their exhibit.(c) Risks identified by exhibitors/competitors will be eliminated or controlled bythe exhibitor/competitor and particular attention will be paid to ensuring publicsafety and safety of other exhibitors/competitors.(d) Exhibits will only be held and handled by competent persons whoseexperience is known to the Exhibitor/Competitor.(e) A “No Smoking Policy” will be strictly adhered to by exhibitors/competitorsand exhibitors/competitors are advised that the use of Primus stoves, anyheating or lighting appliances of a like character, or any naked light, is strictlyprohibited in pavilions.(f) Any exhibitors/competitors intending to bring electrical equipment to theShowground’s will be required to ensure that such equipment is fitted withresidual current protection and that all electrical leads, tools and appliances havebeen inspected by a licensed electrical contractor and currently tagged. The useof double adaptors is prohibited and all power boards must also be tested andtagged.(g) All exhibitors/competitors will comply with the requirements of the Act and itsRegulations and Standards in every other respect. This is essential for the safetyof all exhibitors/competitors and the general public. The Act imposes very severepenalties in the event of noncompliance with its provisions. Anyexhibitors/competitors who do not comply will not be allowed to exhibit atQueensland Chamber of Agricultural Associations Inc. affiliated Shows.(h) All food stall holders are reminded of their obligations to comply with allrelevant State and Local Government Regulations and requirements.

20. PRIVACY STATEMENTThe information provided by Exhibitors is used by the Queensland Chamber ofAgricultural Associations Inc. and the Association relevant to this schedule toorganise, process and conduct competitions at the relevant Agricultural Show.By entering such competitions you consent to their personal information beingused for this purpose including this information being made available tosponsors, breed Associations, the media, the public, promotional purposes,archival purposes, published in publications and could be made available toother third parties for the purpose of promoting the Queensland AgriculturalShow Movement, or as otherwise required by law.Exhibitors have a right of access to and alteration of personal informationconcerning themselves in terms of the Privacy Act. This may be done bycontacting the QCAS Chief Executive Officer or by writing to the QueenslandChamber of Agricultural Societies Inc.
