What makes Genesis different:• The owner has a passion for cinema, specifically independent – “one of my

favourite pastimes is going to the cinema. Not to any other cinema, but to my local independent cinema”

• Has history: The first building on the site opened in 1848 • Has a luxury café/ bar (see picture below)

• Typical audience member• Everyman is and independent cinema which still actively

shows more mainstream films than independent (depending on the time of year). This could be due to the logistics of Chemlsford – Everyman being its first independent cinema.

• For this reason, Everyman Chelmsford attracts all audiences, children, teenagers, intellectuals, adults and film lovers.

it is a theatre which shows predominately live shows. This makes viewing a film at the Cramphorn feel that extra bit more special due to its rareness and speciality.

• Additionally, since this society is labelled as a club, the audience member would be more of a film lover and more “loyal” to independent film.

• Each seasons programme is chosen and devised by the members, certifying that the audience is getting what they want.

• Additionally, the Prince Charles occasionally showcases “throw back” films, such as the Mean Girls Bitch Along event on the 29th of April, inviting all types of nostalgics.
