In addition to his professional activities, Ronald Porzio supports the efforts of the United Way, a prominent nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve their potential and live long, productive lives. In particular, the United Way enables individuals to achieve financial stability and economic independence.

About United Way

In 2008, the United Way implemented a 10-year plan to address income issues in the United States and help nearly two million working families gain control of their home finances. To accomplish its mission, United Way initiated the Financial Stability Partnership, which uses a community-based approach to financial planning and addressing basic needs. More than 300 United Way locations in the United States engage families in one or more of five focus areas: savings and assets, income support, affordable housing, manageable expenses, and family-sustaining employment.
