In the Loop with WestCare California Welcome to the WestCare California Loop! January 31, 2014 Upcoming Events Employee Spotlight My name is Christy Howell-Glunz I am a re- cently married mother of two teenagers. My oldest is my son who is very active within the FFA community and my daughter who is the sports star of the family is very active with her high school sports which include basketball and golf. I began my employment with West- Care Sacramento SASCA in June 2013 I cur- rently work as a covering CSC, program re- viewer and the placement coordinator . Upon my employment with WestCare I knew I would learn a lot and that I have done. I could- n’t imagine myself in a different career path. I value my employment with WestCare and truly enjoy the opportunity that this has given me, but I have to say the best part of all of this is the out- come and changed lives for the population that we serve. As we wrap up January and get ready for the next month, I would like to an- nounce that new and exciting things are coming to WestCare including a staff recognition system and a newsletter that is written by clients for clients! We expect these to start up soon. Stay tuned! - Michael Mygind, Special Projects Recent Happenings at WestCare California... February 5th: SJVV outreach at the Madera County Library.
