English for Flight Attendants

In-flight English is a 12 session language course designed by Aviation English Asia to prepare flight attendants for common situations that they could expect to encounter during in-flight duties. It is available to both self-funded and airline sponsored students.

Improve your English and increase your chances of finding a cabin crew position In-flight English is specifically designed for people in Asia whose first language is not English who want to work as a flight attendant. If you are currently looking for a cabin crew career you will improve your English as you perform common in-flight duties, such as boarding procedures, announcements and duty free sales. You will complete the course with a good understanding of the role of cabin crew.

Learn English that you can actually use in a cabin crew career We focus on the language you need to use at work and on layover. You will improve your English faster because the topics are more interesting for cabin crew.

Topics include:

• Flight crew and their roles • Aircraft familiarisation • Boarding • Takeoff and initial flight • Catering • In-flight entertainment • Duty free • Customer service • Emergency procedures • First Aid • Announcements • Landing • Transit and disembarkation

Excellence in English teaching - Asia wide

We guarantee that this is the best course of its type in Asia. All our teachers are:

• University graduates • Trinity Cert / CELTA qualified • Native English Speakers • With at least 3 years experience • Interested in your progress and career • Assisted by experienced cabin crew.

You are assessed constantly so you can be sure that you are competent in each language structure and confident to continue to the next lesson. At the end of the course you take an exam to confirm your English proficiency.

A Natural Communicative Method You’ve probably experienced language classes at school, where a teacher has lectured for an hour about grammar, marked your written homework and told you to go home and memorise a grammar book and a vocabulary list. Do you get chance to practice speaking in English itself? If you did get to speak, you were very lucky! This is the traditional learning method used in most schools in Asia. You didn’t learn your first language from a grammar book and vocabulary list, so why not learn English the same way you learned your first language – using a Natural Communicative Method? In-flight English is a course with Natural Communication at its heart. Instead of grammatical structures to remember like mathematical formula, English learners are presented with English the way it is used naturally by people from Western countries.

Aviation English Asia give you

• A practical role play based course

• An English speaking environment

• Progress that is monitored and assessed daily

• Experienced English language teachers and airline trainers

• A certificate on completion of the course to use in your applications

• Ongoing support through our online learning community.
