Improve Your Fitness by Working out as a Family
All of us are required to live inside a system designed by the so called society, which was actually formed
by us. In the sequence of events that happen, we have to grow up through the various phases of life as
described by Shakespeare in “All the world's a stage”. One particular stage where two souls are required
to promise that they will dedicate the rest of their life for each other’s suffering in the form of love, in
the presence of a rejoicing crowd is called marriage. This stage of life is seen as one of the most
important because one gets to start a new phase of life by bringing into the world a new life.
Now, let’s leave the philosophy there and move over to the fitness part. In most cases, we see both the
men and the women become overweight or obese after marriage. For Women, this happens after their
pregnancy. Whilst men may state that they got to do many personal and official works which ensures
that they do not get any time for doing any physical activity.
Given their reasons, now we got to come up with a solution and one of the best solutions can be the
fitness camps or family vacations. The problem now is the economic situation ensures that both heads
of the family have to work. So it is tough for them to go on a fitness vacation as both find it tough to get
the same days off and they will have their own works for the weekend too.
In this busy schedule, the family should think of an innovative way to keep them fit. The solution doesn’t
lie in the fitness camps, but at your home. Confused?? Read on to know how
When is the last time that you, your wife and kids had a nice time together at home? Can’t remember or
did it never happen?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, then now it’s time for you to act to improve your fitness
by engaging in activities with your family. Spare an hour for your family on weekdays and more than two
hours on weekends. Kids are usually brisk and get bored of doing the same tasks every day. There can’t
be any more happiness than playing with your kids. Design different activities for every day, for instance
on Monday you could get your family to play basketball, some other day take them for a swim and so
on. Waking up in the early morning and jogging in the beach with your kid can be a great leisure activity.
Combine a lot of activities for the weekend, where you design a game with different levels and see who
wins it; reward them with a prize which can serve as an inspiration for you to perform better next time.
Now even the virtual world is out there to lend you a helping hand, try to compete with your kids in
video games like wii console, where you do a lot of physical activity. Think about this as a task to make
your child’s day more beautiful every day. When you spend such quality time with your family- bonding
improves, fitness improves and more importantly you are bringing up a child in a creative and
competitive atmosphere.
