Importing Your Contacts via CSV Sample File
Go to:

…click Sign In
Click onto Add/Edit Services

Import TAB
Click onto Import TAB

Import TAB…Click ADD across from
Contact Importer
Click onto Sample File
Click onto
Sample File
Your Sample File will come up as a POP UP BOX.
Then Click OK
Click Onto contacts.csv
1st Click onto
Green Arrow
…after file is processed
Click onto it the file to open it.
Name your file & SAVE
1st your file will Open into a file called “Contacts” in the format you
must keep. Do not change the format of this sample file.
If you use Microsoft Office choose
SAVE ASSAVE this file in a place you know
where to find it & SAVE AS by labeling the file based on what info is in it.
Name your file & SAVE
Type in the name by
Labeling your file. i.e. Save as
aBTS_Test_Email_Group.SAVE AS
SAVE it in a place on your computer
where you will find it.
ADD Contact ImporterFIND
your file from your computer. i.e. aBTS_Test_Email_Group.
Openthe file by clicking on it.
CUT & Paste if you already have this data from another Master Excel Spreadsheet you might have somewhere on your computer or else you will need to manually type in your data for each column in the correct area. i.e. Put in the first name for your contacts in the first name column, last name in last name column etc.
Click onto My Group TAB
Go to My Group TABThis is where you click onto
NEW GROUP button.
Create & type in the name your would like to call this New Group
Group Namei.e. Email_test_group
Click onto Add/Edit Services
Go back to
Add/Edit Services
…then click onto
Import TAB
Click onto Import TAB
When in
Import TAB…click the ADD button on
Contact Importer
Browse for file & pick Group Name
…pick your group name
Group NameIn this example it would be
Email Test Group.
Click onto
Browse ButtonFind your file on your
computer. In this example aBTS_Test_Email
Pick Email, NO & Save Settings
Click onto
Emaildrop down. Click to save your work
Save Settings
No
Click onto Noto automatically create custom fields. When you used the sample
file, your format is already accurate.
Click onto
Message Box Confirm you can view your NEW Email Group. i.e.
Email Test Groupcan be seen in your Message Box.
Go to My Contacts TAB
Choose from dropdown
Email Test Groupto view your group.
Here is where you can
Edit / Removeinfo in your group…
…or you can easily edit the CSV file itself, then browse & re-load the file as shown in this video.
