Conclusions

1. Estimates on the costs for the implementation as well as the annual expenditure for the new reporting obligations are very vague, until the contents of the IPR are finally decided, and until clear information on the data model and the IT-technical solutions for data transfer and the user-interfaces are fairly well known.

2. Much work is done manually at present, especially in some smaller eastern MSs.

3. The new IPR may reduce the annual efforts for reporting by up to 50% - but some MSs estimate the same workload as presently.
