Ujjal Rajak and force (1) C/1234 Mantulal Mandal and (2) NVF/797 Badal Singh Mura all of Purulia(T) PS, Dist- Purulia were performing Special Drive against non wearing mask vide Purulia(T) PS GDE No- 1729, Dated-

24.07.2021. During my mobile duty when myself along with ASI Ujjal Rajak and force reached at Raghabpur

More on Deshbandu Road at 19:30 hrs and found the above persons were roaming ainmlessly at Raghabpur More without mask. I started to detain them. On being asked the above noted persons disclosed their identity but they

could not able to give any satisfactory answer for their movement on road and public place without wearing

mask. So, I arrested them as per the procedure laid down in Cr. P.C and followed the latest guidelines of the

Apex Court, prepared arrest memo. I also offered them medical aids, but they refused. I also offered them bail, but no sureties turned up. So having no other alternate way I brought them to PS and put them in lockup

maintaining all legal formalities. As the pandemic period related to COVID-19 is going on and hence to preven its mass spreading the

Central Govt. & the State Govt. has passed an order to wear mask in the public place is nandatory and ordered

to prosecute the defaulters. They violated the order duly promulgated by the govei nment through public servants and through media etc for prevention of spreading of CORONA Virus/( COVID-19. They were

creating annoyance to the society & violated the govt. order. Though in view of Paademic of COVID-19

outbreak vide Govt. of India order No- 79-CS/2020 dated 12.04.2020 of the Goveri1ment of West Bengal, Wearing of facial mask has been mandatory in public places in the current pandemic disa ster situation. Whereas, vide advisory issued vide no- 715-Home (Cons)/RIM(Cons)-92/2021dated- 17.04.21, Government of West

Bengal has stressed that any violation of musk and social distance norms should be strictly dealt with. Hence I pray before you to start a specific case against the above noted persons under proper section of
