happycelljust the way people get together to share precious moments, happycells congregate to form unique shapes of varying numbers. their amorphous shapes give each piece a unique posture when combined in a group.

sadesade’s soft lines and fragile appearance reflect the delicate nature of glass itself. its purity creates a relaxed environment.

forestforest series offers a set of six glasses that take their individual form from that of a tree, but together reflect the harmony of a forest. their unique shapes of the same volume suggest that they can be used to serve any type of beverage.

blobthe delightful irregularity of blob’s mouth-blown wine set suggests the beverage’s relaxing effect even before the first glass is poured. the burgundy glass stopper echoes the form of a grape.

katkatkatkat can be stacked in both directions as a shelving system. it can also be used singularly as a stool. layers of different colors are mixed and matched as a set of versatile storage components.

vis a visvis a vis combines a single stool and coffee table or alternatively, two are brought together as an extended surface. vis a vis provides either a private or social experience with its sturdy, practical form. its rounded, colour felt addition indicates the seating surface.

bookwavebookwave is a curtain, a room divider and a bookshelf. the soft soul of the fabric provides all these functions in a new approach as it expands to any size.

ice droplike an icicle suspended from a tree or melted wax at a table’s edge, icedrop is literally frozen liquid in motion. its function as a candleholder is obvious from its very appearance.

bouquet imbued with a flower’s innate grace, the bouquet vase is available in two different sizes. alone or together, bouquet will blossom wherever it is placed. each piece is mouth-blown and exquisitely shaped.

Mehtap Obuz Sema Obuz Demir Obuz Nil Deniz Şule Koç

designers ilio’s executive creative team consists of three siblings; mehtap obuz, hasan demir obuz and sema obuz – members of a family with a long artistic tradition, supported by designers nil deniz and şule koç. they plan on building on their company’s legacy to create ilio designs, combining their creative visions with advanced craftsmanship.


ilio gallery in the heart of Istanbul, ilio gallery is situated in a historical building of the beyoğlu district. launched in june 00, the gallery houses installations and displays of the ilio tableware and furniture collection. in the original atmosphere of the building’s lushly lit, brick-layed basement, crystalline glassware sets, shelving, porcelain tableware, seating and accessories are displayed from room to room, each as a different installa-tion. video art, graphics and three-dimensional displays bring a breath of fresh air to art and design in istanbul.
