Air Cargo .

China and Southeast Asia, make up over one-third of the busiest 25 cargo airports

Intra-Asia traffic will grow faster than any other international world market, averaging 6.9% growth per year.

Worldwide traffic will grow from 202.4 billion RTKs in 2011 to more than 558.3 billion RTKs by 2031.

World air cargo traffic will be more than double between 2011 and 2031.

8.5%. India spends 15 to 20% of its

and international air cargo traffic has

grown at a CAGR of 12.3% and 13%,

respectively, during 2007-2010 India

will have five hundred operational

SHIPPING CARGO

Port based freight transportation

predicted to grow at 20% to 25%, at major

and minor ports.

Sea transport through India’s major

ports will also perform well and grow at

9.2% with the entry of private players in

the sea freight sector.

India to emerge as a major

destination for container operations, efforts

for modernization of sea ports are proving

to be a boon.

Vishakapatnam, Krishnapattanam,

Kakinada, Karaikal, Karwar, Ennore,

Chennai, Tutticorin, Vizhinam, Cochin and

New Mangalore
