    IMPACT OF CTV

    In 2013, Total amount of CTVs sold from the month of January to June was R

    Total amount FPDs sold were Rs 221773080

    So total amount of LGs TV segment sale was Rs 659879192

    In case of Samsung, total sales from Jan to June was Rs 315084965

    And in case of Sony, total sales was Rs 213666063

    RECOMMENDATION

    Maintaining Model mix for different channels so that stock availability

    be avoided

    Maintaining minimum Selling Price for all dealers

    ATL/BTL activities for new technology products like UHD/OLED/sma

    CONCLUSION

    Since last year, LG has growth in FPD business of about 64%

    CTV business was good in the past which accounted to 54% of the

    share at that time but it is not profitable in the coming future

    Overall in FPD business, Samsung is leading followed by Sony andthere has been paradigm shift for LG in the recent past
