Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion for the Sick (Home Visits) are in need of new volunteers. They go out after the 7:30 am Mass on Sundays. Peo-ple are not scheduled for more than two Sundays a month. It usually takes about 2 hours to finish tak-ing communion. Trying to visit specially with some of our people that live alone. The Outreach Ministry would like to thank you for shar-ing the gift of warmth and stitches of love. The knitting and crochet ministry led by Elaine has kept many individ-uals warm during our rainy days. For many, it has been a gift of love and hope, for others it is a symbol of strength in recovering from a medical illness. Do you have a couple of free hours from 3pm to 5pm on a weekday afternoon?? Are you bi-lingual?? There is a need for volunteers be-tween the hours of 3pm and 5pm, Monday thru Friday, in the Parish Office. We are look-ing for several volunteers, then only a one or two day commitment would be necessary. PREGUNTA DE REFLEXION DE LA SEMANA
Declaración de la Parroquia de la Misión
MENASJE DE LA SEMANA: Si hemos vivido un poco la liturgia de estos meses, recordaremos
que se nos ha hablado del Padre, del Hijo, y también del Espíritu Santo. Continuamente han sido nombrados. En la fiesta de hoy los contempla-mos a los tres juntos: es la fiesta de la Trinidad. Esto es: la fiesta de Dios-Comunidad. Éste es el significado de este día.
Algunos dirán: “es un gran misterio”. Otros podemos afirmar: “Sí, es un misterio de amor”. Dios es así y así se nos manifiesta: es un Dios fiel, a pesar de la infidelidad de su pueblo; es un Dios cercano al pueblo, aunque éste se aleje de Él; es un Dios al que nosotros podemos llamar “Padre” y nos ha hecho hijos adoptivos.
¿Es difícil creer en Dios-Trinidad? ¿Es difícil entenderle? Tanto como aceptar que Dios es Amor y que quien ama, sabe mucho de Dios y quien no ama (aunque lo diga) sabe poco de Dios. ¡Dichoso quien cree en el Dios-Amor, por-que tendrá luz en su vida!

LUNES 4 DE JUNIO, 2012 Como hijos de Dios necesitamos hacer un alto en nuestra vida y ponernos en silencio ante Jesús Sacramentado. Por lo menos una hora al mes acompaña a Cristo Eucaristía. El primer lunes de cada mes en la Misión Basílica iniciando después de la Santa Misa a las 8:30 AM y terminando con la bendición el próximo día justo antes de las 8:30 AM
PROCESION SOLEMNE EL DOMINGO 10 DE JUNIO
Misa 1:00 PM -Solemnidad de Corpus Christi El jueves siguiente a la solemnidad de la Santísima Trinidad, la Iglesia celebra la solemnidad del Santísimo Cuerpo y San-gre del Señor. En la Iglesia Católica de Estados Unidos se celebra el do-mingo inmediato a la Santísima Tri-nidad. La procesión de la solemnidad del Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo significa prolongar la celebra-ción de la Eucaristía. Inmediatamente después de la Misa, la Hostia consagrada se conduce fuera de la iglesia para que el pueblo cristiano "dé un testimonio público de fe y de veneración al San-tísimo Sacramento". Jesús ascendió a los cielos, pero el Cuerpo de Cristo camina en la tierra. Participemos como ese Cuerpo de Cristo en ésta procesión en la cual caminaremos alrededor del terreno de la Misión. Esta es una celebración solemne, una manifestación de amor, de fe y de respeto al Santísimo Sacramento. La participación de todos nosotros, como Pueblo de Dios, será caminar juntos, cantar juntos, re-flexionar juntos y orar juntos. Somos el "Pueblo de Dios" que camina con su Señor, proclamando la fe en Él, que se ha hecho verdaderamente el "Dios con nosotros".

El sábado 16 de Junio, desea-mos hacer un merecido reconocimiento a todos los papás de esta comunidad. Instituto de Verano 2012
El verano es un tiempo para renovarnos, aprender y profundizar en nuestra Fe Católica. TODOS los Catequistas, Líderes Parroquiales, Directores de Educación Religiosa, Coordinadores de Grupos de Oración y de Jóvenes y Equi-
pos Pre-bautismales están invitados a participar en el Instituto de Verano 2012. El Instituto Para El Ministerio Pastoral de la Diócesis de Orange organiza estas dos semanas de formación las cuales ayudarán a continuar nuestra labor evangelizadora; profundizando en la dimensión religiosa de la vida y proponiendo el Evangelio de tal manera que penetre y transforme las diferentes dimensiones hu-manas. El Instituto de Verano 2012 se llevará acabo en el Centro de Marywood, del 18 AL 29 de junio.
