Candidates belonging to SC / ST categories will be required to produce the original caste/tribe cer�ficate issued by a
competent authority in the prescribed format during admission. Cer�ficates in any other format will not be accepted.
Seats remaining vacant in these categories shall not be filled by candidates belonging to any other categories.
Candidates belonging to OBC category must produce the original ‘Non creamy layer’ (NCL) issued on or a�er 1 st April
2017 by a competent authority in the prescribed format along with the original caste cer�ficates at the �me of personal
interview.
Venue Of Exam
The exam will be conducted in Thane. The detailed address along with the �me will be displayed on
www.cedp‐edu.com on SUNDAY 10 th March 2019. Candidate should report to the Examina�on Center
minimum 1 hour before the scheduled �me of exam which will be declared later on.
Qualifying examina�ons for Indian students
·� Plus two level examina�on in the 10+2 pa�ern of Senior Secondary educa�on of any recognized
·� Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Educa�on and C ouncil for Indian School
Cer�ficate
·� Examina�on or State Boards of Secondary Educa�on.
·� Intermediate or two‐year Pre‐University Examina�on conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
·� General Cer�ficate Educa�on (GCE) Examina� on (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka ) at the Advanced (A)
level.
·� High School Cer�ficate Examina� on of the Cambridge University.
·� Any Public School/Board/University Examina�on in India or in a foreign country recognized by the
Associa�on of Indian Universi�es as equivalent to 10+2 pa�ern of Senior Secondary educa�on.
·�� H.S.C. Voca�onal Examina�on approvedb y NCVT and SCVT of concerned state.
·� Senior Secondary School Examina�on conducted by th e Na�onal Open School w ith a minimum of five
subjects including English as one of the Subjects, result of which should be available upto 30.09.2018.
All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness cer�ficate at the �me of admission from a Registered Medical Prac��oner

Reserva�ons of seats
The admit card will be sent on the email address submi�ed by you during the online applica�on by 6th March
2019. The candidate must bring a print out of the same and s�ck his/her recent photo on the same with a
signature across the photo. Candidates who fail to provide the admit card to the invigilator at the Examina�on
Centre for cross verifica�on will not be allowed to a�end the examina�on. In case of doub�ul iden�ty, the candidate
shall not be allowed to sit for the examina�on.
Pa�ern for wri�en examina�on
Ques�on Paper will be in English only. A wri�en examina�on will be conducted covering following subjects.
The ques�ons will be asked in mul�ple choice formats (MCQs). Ever y ques�on will have 4 op�ons and the
candidate has to choose a correct op�on.
Marking scheme for IH M CET wri�en test
Each correct answer under Numerical Ability & Analy�cal Ap�t ude, Reasoning & Logical Deduc�on,
General Knowledge & Current Affairs and English La nguage components carry one mark. For any wrong
answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. Graded mark(s) will be awarded under Ap�tude for Service Sector
component in the following manner; the most appropriate answer carries 1.00, the next appropriate answer
carries 0.75, the next to next appropriate answer carries 0.50 whereas the inappropriate answer shall carry
nega�ve mark of 0.25.
Merit list
The merit list of candidates shall be prepared on the basis of marks secured in the CET Wri�en Test. In case
candidates secure equal marks, the merit will be determined as under:
i. Candidate securing higher marks in Eng lish component of IHMCET shall rank higher,
ii. In case of candidates securing equal marks in IHMCET, as well as in English component of IHMCET, then
the candidate securing higher marks in Service Ap�tude Component of IHMCET shall rank higher,
iii. In case of �e in (i) and (ii) above, th e candidate older in age shall rank higher.

Guidelines for filling up the on‐ line applica�on form for IHMCET
The candidates are advised to go through the Admission Brochure carefully and acquaint themselves with
all requirements in respect to filling up of the ON‐LINE Applica�on Form for IHMCET.
·� It will be the sole responsibility of the candidate to make sure that he/she is eligible and fulfils all the
condi�ons prescribed for admission.
·� If ineligibility of a candidate is de tected at any stage before or a�er examina�on/declara�on of result or
during any stage of the programme, his/her candidature/admission will be cancelled without any no�ce,
disciplinary ac�on will be taken against him/her and en�re fee will also be forfeited.
·� The candidate solely responsible for filling up of on‐line applica �on form, clearly, le gibly and in block
le�ers of English.
·� Incomplete Applica�on Form will be summarily rejected and no request will be entertained in this regard.
·� Candidate should write his/her name in CAPITAL LETTERS (IN ENGLISH) as given in Class X or
equivalent cer�ficate.
·� Name of Mother/Father: Write the name of your Mother or Father exactly as in your Cl ass X or equivalent
cer�ficate.
·� Date of birth: Enter the date, month and year of your birth as per English Ca lendar and as recorded in your
School/Board (Class‐X) Pre‐University examina�on cer�ficate. Use numerals 01 to 31 for Date, JAN to
DEC for Month and four digits for y ear of birth. For example, if born on 16th August, 1996 , the date
should be entered as follows: 16.08.1996.
·� Category: Tick the appropriate ovals for your categories‐ OPEN (GEN), Scheduled Caste(SC), Scheduled
Tribe(ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC – Non cream y layer). Categories once declared by the candidate,
cannot be changed at a later date (at the �me of Counselling/admission). If no category is specified, you
would be considered as falling under ‘General’ ca tegory only. And, no claim whatsoever shall be
entertained therea�er.
·� Gender: Tick the appropriate oval indicated for ‘Male’, ‘Female’ or Other.
·� Qualifying Exam : Tick the �tled “Passed” if you have alre ady passed the 10+2 or any other specified
qualifying examina�on, which makes you eligible for th e Entrance Test. Tick the �tled “APPEARING” if
you are appearing for the examina�on, which makes you eligible. The �tle “APPEARING’ covers the cases
of “APPEARED” candidates also.
Na�onality: Please type your Na�onality in the given space.

·� Mailing Address: Write your name and complete mailing address IN CAPITAL LETTERS including the
PIN CODE along with Telephone/ Mobile numbers with relevant STD Code at which the communica�on
is to be sent.
·� Photograph of the candidate : The candidate should affix his/her recent colour photograph with white
background (without a�esta�on) taken not more than three months old. The photograph should be upload
as per the instruc�on available on the website. The maximum size for upload is 1 MB in jpg, png format.
·� Verifica�on: While filing up of the on‐line applica�on form, the candidate must verify the correctness of
all the par�culars furnished by him/her. In case any candidate is found to have furnished false informa�on
or is found to have concealed any material informa�on in his/her applica�on, he/she will be debarred from
admission. Further, such a candidate shall also be liable for punishment.
·� Signatures of the candidate : While filing up of the on‐line applic a�on form, the candidate must upload
his/her signature (Max size 1 MB in jpg, png format) at the appropriate space provided for the purpose in
the applica�on form.
·� Be careful while handling of applica�on form: No request for change/correc�on/modifica�on in the
par�culars of Applica�on Form will be entertained.
Code of conduct for ca ndidates during IHM CET
Candidates shall maintain perfect silence and a�end to their Ques�on Paper only. Any conversa�on or gesture or disturbance in the Examina�on Room/Hall shall be deemed as misbehaviour. If a candidate is found using unfair means or impersona�ng, his/her candidature shall be cancelled and he/she will be liable to be debarred for taking examina�on either permanently or for a specified period according to the nature of offence.
·� Candidates are not allowed to carry any textual material, Calculators, Docu Pen, Slide rules, Log Tables, Electronic Watches with facili�es of calculator, printed or wri�en material, bits of papers, mobile phone, pager or any other electronic device, except the Admit Card inside the Ex amina�on Room/ Hall. In case a candidate is found in possession of any of the above objec�onable material, the same will be treated as malprac�ce and candidature will be cancelled with confisca�on of objec�onable material.
·� The candidate shall not remove any page(s) from the Test‐Booklet and if he/she is found to have removed any page(s) from his/her Test Booklet, he/she will be presumed to have used unfair means and shall be liable for criminal ac�on.
Admit card
