Greenpeace is now battling Mark Zuckerburg and Facebook with this new
campaign highlighting the need for leading companies to source
environmentally friendly electricity, instead of “dirty old
coal”… and it seems to be getting a pretty good reception so far with over 500,000 people joining the petition to
demand Facebook gets off coal powered electricity.

Audi have launched their ‘chase’ campaign in ireland. They are
claiming an Audi A1 has been stolen from one of their dealerships, so
they have asked the public to help find it. Clues are being released
online and offline and people are encouraged to connect with the
facebook page and share answers (or not!) with each other.

Compatible with the iPhone and the 4th generation iPod touch, the Nuevo app from
Monokromik lets users try on and select watches in the Neuvo watch collection
without physically touching them. The free app is available for download. Once it's
downloaded, users can virtually try on any of Montreal-based Nuevo's four CAD 45
watches, which come in black, bronze, gold or silver. The watches are only sold online,
which makes the app especially useful. The next step in ‘tryvertising’....

With around 160 million customers each year, Delta Air Lines have moved their
ticket sales into the social media world, taking bookings through Facebook directly. Dubbed the ‘Delta Ticket
Window,’ the Atlanta-based carrier is the first airline to make the move,
available to U.S. citizens in the form of a Facebook Application. the application
is the first of it’s kind for travel services.

Diesel have launched a fun TV campaign with an interactive websie to boot. The product is diesel
runners, who the marketers are claiming ‘kick ass’....literally! Have a look at the youtube video and then go online to kick some ass of your own.
