Smart Surfaces – Why Pressure Sensing?
Clean, seamless surfaceLess false activationsMore realistic haptic responseCan browse with touch sense for switchesReduced eyes-off-road times
Our take:
Integrated control technologies enabling intuitive activation and control of various functions throughout the interior to provide an appealing and higher level of craftsmanship, and serve as an alternative solution to conventional switches

Smart Surfaces – How to do Pressure Sensing?
Surface must allow pressure to reach sensorCalculated switch spacing, pressure pad sizeHaptics must feel crispMust survive automotive environment
