Commonwealth o f Massachusetts. The organizat ion struggled fo r years wi th
a cumbersome, customized cont rac t management system that was further
const rained by a manual paper p rocess.
Users across the o rganizat ion wanted mo re visibil ity and standardizat ion
in the cont ract ing p rocess: I t was hard t o know where cont racts were in

inadver tent ly. As a result, adopt ion o f the system was low, slowdowns were
