2. You will need (2) 1.5” x 12.5” S-Seafoam sashing strips for each row’s construction. Take the first two blocks in each row and sew one sashing strip to the right side of each block. Press the seams. 3. Repeat step two for the remaining three rows. 4. Assemble the sashing strips that will go between each row. You will need a total of 3 completed sashing strips, each made up of (3) 1.5” x 12.5” S-seafoam strips and (2) R-limeade 1.5” x 1.5” squares. 5. To construct one strip, you will start with the S-seafoam 1.5” x 12.5” strip, and sew a 1.5” x 1.5” R-limeade square to the right of the strip. Continue alternating fabrics until you end with the third strip of S-seafoam fabric. 6. Repeat step 5 to complete three sashing strips. 7. Refer to the quilt assembly diagram to sew the ice cream rows and the sashing strip rows together, alternating ice cream rows with sashing rows. Press seams. The completed quilt center should be 38.5” x 51.5”, including seam allowances. 8. Take the S-seafoam (2) 1.5” x 51.5” inner side border strips and sew to the left and right edges of the quilt center. Take the S-seafoam (2) 1.5” x 40.5” top and bottom inner border strips and sew to the top and bottom edges of the quilt center. Press seams. 9. Take the M-Ice cream pink border (2) 8.5” x 40.5” and sew to the top and bottom edges of the quilt center. 10. Take the M-Ice cream pink border (2) 8.5” x 53.5” and the (4) 8.5” x 8.5” corner border blocks. Sew one corner border block to the top and bottom 8.5” edges of each border piece. Press seams. Sew the completed border strips to the right and left edges of the quilt center to complete the quilt top. Press all seams. Prepare quilt backing

1. The finished quilt top measures 56” x 69”. These instructions will provide a backing measuring approximately 76.5” long x 84” wide. Trim away any undesired excess from the width.

2. Cut the 4.25 yds of K-Get the scoop in icing into two equal pieces measuring 76.5” x WOF. Take the 2 pieces of 76.5” WOF backing fabric and trim the selvages away and place the 2 pieces right sides together, aligning the 76.5” lengths. Pin in place along the 76.5” edge. Stitch a seam with a ½” seam allowance to connect the two pieces together. Press the seam. Press the entire backing fabric so it is free from wrinkles.

3. Layer quilt top, batting, and backing to make a sandwich. Quilt as desired. Preparing the binding

4. For the binding of the quilt, approximately 265” of binding is needed. Cut approximately 7 strips, each 2.5” wide by the WOF from I-Straws and Sprinkles in Icing.

5. Attach the strips with a 1/4" seam allowance. Press the connecting seams. 6. Press the entire length of binding in half (wrong sides together) so the binding is

roughly 1-1/4” wide when folded. Measure the length of your binding to make sure you have at least 265” total.

7. Bind the quilt as desired.
