1. Install JDK 1.5

WASCE Installation

A. Start WASCE 2.1 Setup

B. Click Next



C. Click Next



D. Click Next



E. Click Install



Eclipse Installation

F. Extract eclipse Zip file

G. Open extracted folder and run eclipse application



H. Select location to store project



I. You will get workspace:



J. How to configure WASCE 2.1

K. Select Window->Preferences->Servers-> Installed Runtimes



L. Click Add button

M. By default installed server adapter is Web Sphere V6.0 for additional server adapter click ->

Download additional adapter and make sure that your system should be connected to internet



N. Server adapter list will be appear, then select IBM WASCE 2.1 adapter and click Next.



O. Next Screen ->



P. Next screen ->



Q. It will ask for restart workbench ->



R. After restart select Windows -> Preferences -> Server -> Installed Runtime



S. Select WASCE V2.1 server adapter which you have installed as per TGMC DVD kit



T. Click on browse button and specify location for WASCE V2.1.



U. Finish.

DB2 9.7 Installation on Windows

1. Start Setup



2. Click on “Install a Product”

3. Click on “Install New”



4. Click on “Next Button”



5. Accept License agreement



6. Select “Typical” and click on next.



7. Location of Response file which help to install new copy of DB2 as same configuration. Click

next



8. Locate DB2 installation directory and click next.



9. LocalSystem account It will provide your System name and password to DB2 admin

account

10. Local user or domain user accountIt will create a new account where username will be

“db2admin” and password will your own password .

OR

11. Type your System user name and System password so that it will act as LocalSystem

account.



12. Click next.



13. “DB2” will be default instance. Click next.



14. Check DB2 settings which you have installed or you can check in response file.



15. Click finish.



16. Click “create profile” which will configure DB2 first step with browser.

17. At initial step if you want to create sample database then select “Create SAMPLE database

or if you can create your own database with “Create new database” option.

How to start DB2

18. Type “db2cmd” in run window.



19. It will redirect on DB2 non-interactive mod.

20. Type “db2” and press enter so that you can switch on db2 interactive mod.



21. Type “db2cc” in run to open db2 control center.

22. Click “ok” for advance view.



23. Further you can switch on different db2 tools with main menu “Tools” options.
