1. Reconfiguring notes using notes.ini file

1. Open notes.ini file in notes folder-delete all contents after InstallType=62. Click on notes icon on desktop and enter the user short ID and server3. elect ID file in data folder!. "nter pass#ord-ne$t-finish-notes setup is co%plete.

When launching Lotus Notes or trying to send mail, the following error is received "File not found or file does not

exist."

Cause:

It is possible that the problem is caused by corruption in the outgoing mail database mail.box!.

Resolution:

. #lose Lotus Notes.$. %earch for the mail.boxfile on the system it should be located in the C:\Notes\datafolder!.&. 'elete the existing mail.boxfile, or move it to a location outside the Notes folder for bac(up.

Note:

)ny outgoing mail held in the outgoing mail database at this time i.e. sent, but not replicated! will not be sent.*he original mail, if saved, is still present in the mail database and may be resent when the problem has been

corrected.

If the above process has not resolved the original issue, there may be corruption in the template file
