There was a struggle between the two about dominancy
Rome eventually came out on top
After 200 years of resilient tribes who didn’t like imperialist rule that Rome consisted of

1100 B.C.The Founding of Gadir
It was founded by Phoenician’s and merchants
It’s found near Tartessos in modern day Cadiź

209 B.C.Carthago Nova
Was founded by Asdrubal with the name Qart-Hadasch until around 209 B.C.
The after 209 B.C. Publius Cornelius Scipio took it over and made it part of Roman Hispania
Then its name was changed to Carthago Nova

1800 B.C.Bronze Age
Los Millares was followed by El Argar, Bronze technology spread rapidly
Many new tools and artistry were designed during this time in history

3000 B.C.Chalcolithic
Many complex cultures were developed around this time
This gave rise to some of the first Civilizations in Iberia
