Transcript of IAWP Newsletter March 2015
Message from the President: Our Educational Conference is just around the corner so if you have not regis-
tered you must do it now. Come and experience what our organization is all
about and have the unique experience to hear from our International President in
person.
Please consider running for a Statewide Office. The slate for incoming officers is
almost clean so there are many areas you can volunteer to serve in.
Mike Puglisi
The achievements of an organization are the results of the
combined effort of each individual. - Vince Lombardi
From the Editor:
Last Month I wrote: Time Management has become increasingly
important for Workforce Professionals especially as we are doing
more and more with less staff. So, it would be nice to hear from all
of you about some tricks and tips that you find helpful. Your ideas
will then be shared in our next Newsletter. . Renee Wilmoth,
IAWP NY Chapter Communications

Thank you Hope, she wrote: “I find that email can be a big distrac-
tion and steals precious minutes throughout the day. So to be as
productive as possible and avoid this trap. I only check my email 3
times a day. First thing in the morning, right before lunch and one
more time before I leave for the day. That way I know I have ad-
dressed any concerns or problems in there but I have not let it rob
my day of productive work time. “
Renee—I keep several programs open at once, so I don’t have to
keep opening programs that I use throughout the day— a definite
time saver.
