Running and writing... my high school coach and teacher kept me in line on the track and in the classroom. Thanks, Mr. G. My dad woke up at 5 a.m. to work in the oil refineries of New Jersey. That was my ticket to college. Now I wake up at 5 a.m. with the same goal for the children of Newark. I’m a school leader now, but I’ll always be a teacher. I still remember my first day. 1 2 3 4
