5.11.2021 (copy enclosed) regarding Nationwide Campaign of COVID Vaccination i.e. Har Ghar

Dastak' from 3° November to 30th November 2021, where the frontline healthcare workers would

conduct door to door mobilization, awareness and vaccination of eligible persons. They will reach

out, Counsel, mobilise and vaccinate all missed-out and dropped-out eligible benes+ciaries to

complete the COVID vaccination schedule for full protection.

To ensure the successful campaign Department of Health and Family Welfare has sought

the support on the following activities:2

Dissemination of information on the campaign and also benefits of vaccination through

school teachers to the Students.Students as messengers for intensifying the significance of completing vaccination

schedule i.e. receiving both doses and sensitizing parents. Engagement of Shiklsha Mitra and School Teachers as influencers and role models for

vaccination.

ear seuclary-, Under theNational COvID-19 Vaccination Program, the Country has

recently achieved the milestone of administering 100 crore doses of COVID-

19 vaccine to the eligible population aged 18 years & above. Till date, about

107.70 crore doses have been administered. 78% of the eligible population has been provided the first dose and 36% have received both the doses of CoVID

vaccine.

2 2. To further intensity the momentum, a nationwide campaign of coVID

vaccination i.e. 'Har Ghar Dastak is being initiated from 3rd to 30th November

2021 where the frontline healthcare workers would conduct door-to-door

mobilization, awareness and vaccination of eligible persons. They will reach

out, counsel, mobilise and vaccinate all missed-out and dropped-out eligible

beneficiaries to complete the COVID vaccination schedule for full protection. A

detailed plan will be prepared at District level with regular review of the same

to ensure effective implementation.

3 In this regard, I look forward to the continued support from the Ministry of

Education, which has been one of the key stakeholders in providing support at

various levels to this vaccination program. Under this initiative, support will be

required from the Dept. of School Education & Literacy for the following activities:
