Enjoy: Switch Light Mode by pressing 1 second.

Cycle Timing: Illuminate 12 hours/Day.

Step 2: Add NutrientsFill A nutrient bottle with room temperature tap water or bottled distilled water, shaking until well mixed.Fill B nutrient bottle with room temperature tap water or bottled distilled water, shaking until well mixed.Add 25 milliliters A solution and 25 milliliter B solution when adding 5-liter water to the tank.

Note: Too much nutrient may be harmful to your plants.Nutrient Feeding Tip: Always top off water level when adding Liquid Nutrients. 1-Liter water needs to add into 5 milliliters A solution and 5 milliliter B solution. For best results, top off the water level in your garden regularly.Do not use well water or softened water. Most well water contains a high amount of dissolved solids that upset the balance of our nutrients, and softened water adds sodium. This can result in plants suddenly browning, or just not growing well.Nutrient particles have a storage life of 2 years in unopened bottles if stored at the ambient temperature without exposure to sunlight.Well-mixed nutrient solutions have storage lives of 5 months if stored without exposure to sunlight.

Control Panel Settings

Step 3: Plug-InDo not plug the adapter when no water in tank. You will hear a "Beep" sound after plugging the adapter, indicating that light panel can be controlled. If you hear no sound, pull out the panel port, and insert tightly again until hearing "Beep" sound. The water pump runs after plug the adapter 1 mins (5 minutes on, 30 minutes off). If the pump runs immediately, pull out the panel port and insert it tightly again.

Power/Normal: Turn on the LED light by pressing 1 second and then the garden kit go into Normal Mode.Pressing and hold for 3 seconds, the light is forced to be turned off and then go into “off state” in Normal Mode. Cycle Timing: Illuminate 14 hours/Day (Tips: When you turn on the light at the 8:00 am, the light will turn on at the 8:00 am next every day automatically.)

Grow: Switch Light Mode by pressing 1 second. Cycle Timing: Illuminate 16 hours/Day. Pump Switch: Pressing and hold for 3 seconds, switch pump mode.Cycle System of Pump: 12 hours - no pump12 hours - a repeating cycle of 5 minutes on, 30minutes off.

Step 4: Add Seed Sponges & Basket KitsThe garden kit does not include the seed.Choose the seed of a well-known brand at local.Add 3-4 seeds to per sponges to improve germination rate. Some seeds germinate in 2-7 days. Please be patient. Choose one seedling when the seeds grow into seedlings. More seedling probably results in poor growth due to insufficient nutrients.

Place Your GardenOn a sturdy, water-tolerant surface. In a 59°F-86°F (15-30°C) environment (optimal).Beyond the reach of children or pets.Away from direct sources of heat ( stove, furnace vents, e.g.,) or cold ( window drafts, A/C vents, e.g.,).Indoor Garden Kit does not need additional light or a sunny window. In fact, too much direct sunlight can overheat your plants.

The System has a work clock that will automatically start to work in a 24h cycle upon proper connection of the machine to the municipal power supply; at the same time on each subsequent day, the system will automatically start and the LED will automatically turn on regardless of the mode setting.1. If you change the mode when the LED light is on, the cycle will take into account the time spent in the mode you changed from. a. For example, if the machine is in Normal mode (light on for 14 hours, off for 10 hours) and the light has been on for 13 hours and you change it to Enjoy mode (on for 12 hours, off for 12 hours), the light will immediately switch off for 12 hours as it enters the cycle for Enjoy mode. b. If the machine is in Normal mode (light on for 14 hours, off for 10 hours) and the light has been on for 10 hours in Normal mode and you switch it to Grow mode (light on for 16 hours, off for 8 hours), the light will continue to be on for 6 hours. After that, it will turn off for 8 hours as it enters the Grow mode cycle. * If you press and hold the button of the power for 3s when the machine is in Normal mode, the LED light will be off for 10hr immediately and run into the cycle of the Normal mode again.2. When the LED light is off, press and hold the Power/Normal button for 3s, after you hear ‘Beep’ two times, the light mode will run into the cycle of Normal mode (light on for 14 hours, off for 10 hours) immediately. Just before your normal bedtime, press the Power/Normal button for 3 seconds. This will tell the garden to start the 10-hour “lights off” cycle and you can sleep through the night. The lights will come back on 10 hours later and follow the same timing each day.”

LightsPlants love light! Always keep your Grow Lights as close to your plants as possible. Plants should be 1-2 inches below Lights.Always check to see if you can prune plants instead of raising Grow Lights. After pruning, lower your lights back down to within 1-2 inches of plants if possible.

PollinatingBecause most people don’t have bees in their home, you will need to start pollinating our fruiting plants (tomatoes, peppers, etc.) once they begin to flower approxiately 4 – 6 weeks after planting). To pollinate, use one or more of the following methods: Place an open hand inside plant branches and gently move your hand back and forth to shake the plant and spread the pollen.Place a fan near your plants and the moving air will pollinate your plants.

HarvestingGarden kit works best with a harvesting method called “cut and come again.” Simply put, you enjoy frequent small harvests and then watch as the plants rapidly regrow - ready for harvest again and again. Enjoy frequent, smaller harvests for the first month or two until plants mature and larger harvests are available.Harvest often to maintain a healthy garden, but never take more than 1/3 of each individual plant at a time. For Salad Greens, cut the top 2 inches off the entire garden, or harvest large leaves individually by cutting off at the base of the plant.

Cleaning pumpClean the cotton of the water pump at least once a month. You can take out the cotton from the pump to wash, and then replace it back.Do NOT plug the adapter when the water tank is no water, it will shorten the life of the pump.

Important Note: After the plants bloom, change the water once a week to ensure that the potassium content is sufficient.

An Important Note About Lights

GerminationCheck the seed information regarding optimal temperature and days to germinate. Plant 3-4 seeds per sponge. Some seeds germinate in 2-7 days or more. Many factors impact germination.

The basket lid help regulate moisture and temperature for optimal germination. Leave them on until plants are nearly touching the lid, then take it off.

Large plants like Tomatoes and Peppers plant fewer than 7 pods to make room for the large plant size. Leave space between seed pods to allow room for each to spread out.

However, plants are impacted by temperature. Cold weather plants like Salad Greens germinate better in cooler weather. Heat lovers like Tomatoes and Peppers will germinate faster in warmer temperatures (above 70 degrees F). Since they may take a bit more time, your seeds will germinate.

PruningCheck the seed information regarding optimal temperature and days to Lower your plants, don’t raise your lights! You will achieve more compact, beautiful growth and bigger harvests if you prune plants to keep the lights closer to all plants.

Fast-growing plants (like Basil) make gardeners want to raise the lampshade too soon. Resist! Pruning the plant just above a new leaf set (Diagram A) and leaving the lights down low will ensure that slow-growing plants in your garden get all the light they need to flourish.

Prune often to maintain a healthy garden, but never take more than 1/3 of each individual plant at a time.

Plants compete for light. Left untended, more aggressive growers can actually block enough light to suppress growth of their slower-growing neighbors, and eventually they can die off due to lack of light. Spreading leaves must be trimmed (Diagram B) to make sure that slow growers get enough light to thrive and produce big yields.

TransplantOnly when you see rhizome around the sponge, then you can transplant. Split the sponge to take one seedling out and move it to other pot.Put the sponge back, only keep one seedling in the sponge in order to get sufficient nutrition.

Once you choose one light mode to plant, the light will turn on and off automatically to provide your plants with “sunlight”, so you do NOT need to intervene when to turn on the light. If the light NEVER turns on, pull out the panel port, and then insert it into tightly. Because the garden kit has a layer of soft rubber to prevent water from seeping into the electrical outlet, which results in the poor connection.

An Important Note About Pump

Gardening Tips for Maximum Harvests

Pump will run after plug the adapter 1 minute. Pump go into a cycle of turn on 5 minutes, turn off 30 minutes.Insert the panel port tightly again if pump runs immediately.Pump never turn on, please contact Email - [email protected]

Finally, pruning = harvesting. Each time you prune you get to enjoy fresh herbs in a salad, soup on pizza or a sandwich. And, a full, bushy garden looks much better than one giant, spindly plant surrounded by straggly, light starved neighbors. Pruning also releases a wonderful scent. So prune!
