• Obtaining human capital and optimizing human capital (40 %)
• Obtaining financial capital and optimizing financial capital (29 %)
• Obtaining intellectual capital and optimizing intellectual capital (12 %)

Some spectacular research findings
• Large financial institution, objective branch level performance data, longitudinal design, two waves of data, perceived HR practices/work systems
• Quality orientation, goal effectiveness, top-down communication, pay satisfaction, job security
• More than 10.000 respondents, average response rate around 80%
• An increase in one standard deviation HR practices/work systems is associated with 165 million higher profit! (= more than 17 % of total profits)
