Human eSources Canvas Integration Introduction for Instructors
The Human eSources Canvas integration allows access to one or more of the following Human eSources
products:
CollegeScope
Do What You Are
The Learning Style Inventory
The PEPS Learning Style Inventory
MI Advantage
In this document we will provide examples that demonstrate the CollegeScope functionality. The individual
assessments use a similar subset of this functionality.
Both instructors and students begin by clicking "CollegeScope" in course modules that you define. Each will see
a different view, based upon their user type. Student users are taken directly to CollegeScope.
Instructor View
As an instructor, you first must approve access to your course allowing CollegeScope to create assignments in
Canvas and to submit grades for them on your behalf.
If more than one configuration of CollegeScope is available at your school, you will need to choose the
appropriate configuration. All the assignments will then be created in Canvas for you.
Under Student Results, view student CollegeScope and assessment results for all students in the class who have
logged in to CollegeScope through Canvas and have results available.
Click on a student’s name, then select one of their completed chapters and scroll down to Journals to grade all
the journal entries. When finished, click Save Grades to save them to the Human eSources servers. At any point,
you can click Upload Grades to bulk upload all available student grades to the Canvas Grade Center.
One assignment column will be created for each chapter quiz and each gradable journal.
Student View
Students will complete CollegeScope from the Chapters page. They can also access their chapter results and
assessment reports from this page.
