1.2. NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES1.2.1. GENERAL

Every operator of ACFT arriving and departing LLBG shall ensure at all times thatACFT is operated in a manner calculated to cause the least disturbance practica-ble in areas surrounding the APT. The published procedures may at any time bedeparted from to the extent necessary for avoiding immediate danger or for com-plying with ATC instructions.The following procedures are designed to avoid excessive ACFT noise in the areasadjacent to the APT and in the areas overflown during take-off and landing. TheSID routes shown on SID charts have been designed so as to minimize the noiselevels over densely populated areas in the vicinity of the APT.

1.2.2. PREFERENTIAL RWY SYSTEM

ARRIVALSRWY 12 is the preferred RWY assigned to landing ACFT, provided the tailwindcomponent does not exceed 10 KT when RWY is dry or 5 KT when RWY is wet.RWY 30 is the preferred RWY assigned to landing using the RNP approach between2300-0100LT (summer and winter) and 0530-0700LT (winter season) or 0500-0700LT (summer season).

DEPARTURESRWY 26 is the preferred RWY assigned to departing ACFT, provided the tailwindcomponent does not exceed 5 KT.

1.2.3. REVERSE THRUSTReverse thrust other than idle thrust shall not be used between 2300-0600LT,except for safety reasons.

1.2.4. RUN-UP TESTSEngine run-ups for maintenance purposes are not permitted between 2300-0500LT.

1.3. LOW VISIBILITY PROCEDURES (LVP)1.3.1. GENERAL

LVP will be implemented by Tower and transmitted via ATIS, when RVR is below800m (or visibility below 1200m).RWY 21 is preferred RWY for landings and RWY 26 is preferred RWY for take-offs. Follow-me service may be provided to ACFT to and from stands. This servicehowever will not be provided when visibility is less than 100m.During emergency in low visibility conditions, RWY 26 will be the preferentialRWY for landings.Due to greater separation applied in low visibility conditions, expect delays inthe approach and take-off sequence.

1.3.2. PILOT REPORTSACFT lifting off shall report "airborne" when clear of ground.

1.4. SURFACE MOVEMENT GUIDANCE AND CONTROL SYSTEMACFT operating Mode S shall identify using ICAO callsign. Arriving ACFT con-tinue transmitting Mode A code and Mode S until parked on stand.Departing ACFT shall turn transponder ON Mode A/ALT code and Mode S signalwhen ready for push-back or when ready for taxi whichever is earlier.

1.5. TAXI PROCEDURES1.5.1. GENERAL

ACFT shall cross active RWY on Tower frequency. Do not cross RWY without spe-cific authorization.ACFT being towed from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 and vice-versa, must establishand maintain communication with BEN GURION Ground.When towed from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 contact Ground East; from Terminal 3to Terminal 1 contact Ground West.When Ground West and Ground East are combined use frequency 118.05.South entry/exit into apron V1 via TWY VF.North entry/exit into apron V1 via TWY VG.ACFT entry to apron V1 (stands V6 thru V9) by Follow-me instructions only.

3.1. START-UP AND PUSH-BACK PROCEDURES3.1.1. GENERAL

"Clearance Prior to Taxi" (CPT) is provided continuously via Datalink (DCL) or byvoice (frequency published by ATIS).Pilots shall contact CPT 15 minutes before start-up.The MSG shall specify the following: ACFT call sign and type, stand number, ATISletter and the intended start-up time.In order to adhere to SLOT times, ACFT will be cleared to push-back and taxi, notlater than 10 minutes prior to calculated take-off time.Push-back is not permitted without specific ATC approval.When ACFT is ready for departure, the crew shall obtain push-back clearance andtaxi instructions from BEN GURION Ground. From all parking positions, includingaprons V, BE, J, L and H push-back is approved only with specific ATC clearance.ACFT receiving push-back clearance is expected to vacate the gate within 2 min-utes of the push-back clearance.Pilots are requested to start engines during push-back.DCL - successful clearance must be accepted within 5 minutes after receipt or a"Revert to voice" MSG will be received.Cross-bleed start-up approved only at the release point.

3.1.2. APRON BE, J, L, HACFT shall start up all engines while pushing back to the assigned start-upposition.

3.2. 3.2.1. GENERALJet aeroplanes irrespective of weight shall commence the following Noise Abate-ment Climb (NADP-1).The initial climbing speed to the noise abatement initiation point shall not beless than V2 + 10 KT.

3.2.2. NIGHT FLYING RESTRICTIONSRWY 30 is not available for take-off between 2300-0600LT, unless approved, inexceptional circumstances, by APT manager.Other RWYs: ACFT shall not take off between 0140-0530LT during winter season,and 0140-0500LT during summer season. Take-off between 0140-0200LT shall beapproved, only in exceptional circumstances, by APT manager.Take-off between 0530-0600LT during winter season, and 0500-0600LT duringsummer season, shall be approved in one of the following conditions:1) The noise level will not exceed a "Reduced Noise Level" as recorded by the

Noise Monitoring Terminals (NMT)."Reduced Noise Level", for this matter, is a noise level that will not exceedthe maximum noise level of -3 dbA, approved for departures of ACFT withMAX take-off weight of less than 300t. (Refer to chart LLBG 10-4).

2) Flights, scheduled to depart before the night take-off restriction, and weredelayed, may be approved by APT manager, without the restriction above.

Exceptions:- ACFT rendering medical assistance;- Firefighting ACFT;- Cloud-seeding flights;- Other special flights only by prior permission from CAAI.

3.3. SPEED RESTRICTIONS250 KIAS below 10,000' AMSL except for ACFT approved by ATC.

Take-off to 950’ Take-off power, Take-off flaps.Climb at V2 + 10 KT (or as limited by body angle).
