HR Payroll Management System is used to maintain payroll related tasks. This document consist of description, feature, installation procedure and change log of our plugin.

Description

Orange HRM Smack Payroll easy to use add-on in market to maintain your payroll

related tasks in your HR management. The current version 1.5.0 is compatible for

Orange HRM latest version release 3.0.1. The Plugin which helps to create fields,

create templates, assigned the templates to existing users and get the payroll

reports.

More Information

Orange HRM Smack Payroll makes your payroll management related tasks easy

and automated in your HR management. You can create custom fields with related

calculation and methods just as formulas. Create different sets of salary template

with created custom fields for varied needs. From salary template create and save

salary templates to match your company infra and HR requirements. Assign

templates to selected users as automated tasks to generate pay slips every month

automatically. Via reports you can access all generated payslips of the selected

month.

Installation

• Ensure that essential backups are done before proceeding further.

• Go to orangehrm_root/symfony/apps/orangehrm/config/settings.yml

• Search for "enabled_modules:".

• In enabled modules add "smackPayroll".

• Copy Payroll.tar.gz to orangehrm root and untar it

• Give write permission (chmod 777) to the

orangehrm_roots/symfony/plugins/orangehrmSmackPayrollPlugin/downloads

• Run the Payroll_install.php from browser e.g. http://yourhrm.com/Payroll_install.php

• Don't run more than once. Once you run the installer script remove it.

• Clear the HRM cache by deleting symfony/cache/orangehrm/prod folder.

• Now the Payroll Plugin is installed successfully

• Logout and login to refresh the browser cache/cookies

• Now you can see the Payroll menu in Navigation Bar

How to Use

Create Employee

1. After installing orange hrm, goto PIM module and click Add Employee

2. In that, add new employee by providing mandatory field(first name, last name) and create login credential to

the employee

3. Click Save

4. After that, enter the employee personal details

5. Update the job profile of the employee

Payroll Module

1. Once the payroll module is installed, Payroll menu should be visible in top navigation bar.

2. By clicking the Payroll menu you can access to related menus as in screenshot below.

3. Click “Manage Fields” and “Add New” to create fields

4. Enter the field name, field type, field description and category

5. Now the new field is added.

6. Can rename the field and description by a single click on the list view

7. Now the field description can be renamed.

8. Click “Salary Template” and “Add New” to create new templates

10. Configure the template header fields by selecting the configure option

11. You can create new template by enter the template name and click create template.

12. When template is created it shows success message and it also added in template list

14. You can update the template by clicking template name. After made chages, click update template

15. You can re-order the structure order as in screenshot ( it will affects in all templates ).

18. Click “Save and Generate” to create a task and run in parallel

19. You can preview the tasks based on the assigned users. ( click preview now new window will be open and you

can view payslip )
